There is one racism not viewed as racism. The one so embedded in European civilisation that it produced the Holocaust - yet still goes unrecognised when it rampages today. It's the one hidden behind an obscure word: 'antisemitism'. Yet racists attack Jews today not for their religion but their ethnicity for who they are. They might not goose step. But they march. They incite. They spout the sam...

Amidst the terrible events of the Middle East beginning with the October 7th pogrom, in which 1,400 Israelis were butchered by Hamas terrorists, the theme for our 28th Anniversary was 'From Generation to Generation'. It is based on the beautiful Jewish ritual song 'L'Dor Va'Dor' which means the same thing. This montage shows our Holocaust survivor family with their children & grandchildren. We ...

    She was absolutely correct in saving her & her mother's prisoner numbers. When all of these survivors are gone proof that they did this will be gone too but not now with those 2 pieces of evidence.

    There was no need to play victim supremacy cards. The holocaust is most probably the worst crime of the 20th century and kitty is such a wonderful witness! Why ruining everything comparing the holocaust with other victims from different times, places and ethnic groups.

    I first saw Kitty Hart Moxon on a documentary where she confronted Holocaust deniers in a tour of Auschwitz. She made these holocaust deniers look so arrogant and stupid that they turned their back on her and didnt try to listen to her words. I admire her.

    You want descendants of hundreds of years of slavery, and many more years of horrible mistreatment, to stop talking about it and move on, while you talk to survivors and their DESCENDANTS about the Holocaust, that lasted about 12 years (not undermining the horror in any way) and how it affects them in the present? Twisted double standard.

  • @withfootnotes
    @withfootnotes 3 месяца назад

    I stopped watching after your ignorant comments comparing Kitty's experience with the experience of adult descendants of slaves in the US. You have no right to compare the two. They are two separate experiences, and deserve to be treated as such. Both are true, but slavery in the US never got the apologies and reparations that the Holocaust did all over the world. Read the book " The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness" by Michelle Alexander and you might better understand why BLM became. I know it opened my eyes. Slavery never stopped, just changed faces over and over. Disagree? Prove me wrong.

      @withfootnotes 3 месяца назад

      I'm also disappointed in Kitty nodding her head in agreement with your awful comments. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she isn't familiar with BLM and all of our history with slavery and brutality in the US. I hope...

      @@cabc74 I in no way minimize what happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany. The cruelty is beyond words. But by the same token, some of those who talk so loudly about that want to dismiss the generational pain and suffering of others that for some reason they feel should just shut up and move on. It doesn't make sense to me. If the past should be left in the past and not discussed, then it should be true for everyone across the board. Sorry to go on a rant, I just get very upset by the inconsistencies.

    Remember, Germans, that there were no "Nazis from Mars", only German criminals and German concentration camps. If you do not account for the crimes of your grandparents and great-grandparents (you do not pay reparations to Poland for crimes and destruction), sooner or later you will cease to exist as a nation. The world will learn about the crimes of the Germans, so you will not lie to history.I'm sorry but I had to write this to the Germans.Grettings from Poland from Łódź

She’s so steadfast, determined and incredible despite her hardship her strength lives on to this day. I hope one day I have the privilege to meet her she’s an icon in her own right and an extremely clear symbol of leadership and enthusiasm to show the world of the horrors that she and millions went through.

    I first saw her in a documentary in 1979 on RUclips. It was her revisiting it 40 years later for the first time. It is haunting, sad, eye opening and courageous. I learnt more as an Australian woman born in 1979, who learnt about it without really seeing and learning first hand what happened there. Especially by someone who was there and did. I want tonthank Kitty for being brave enough to continually educating us about what happened to her and the others there We need to keep hearing about this atrocity so we can stand up to it! I would love to meet u Kitty. Thank you for your courage and sharing your story. Wish I could meet u in person U are an inspiration and I want to share your story so we can as humans can try to stop this happening again to others. Do not hijack this inspiring ladies story to get political and say bad stuff about people opposing senseless police violence which lead to people dying. Violence is bad. And about asking reparations... Let's not forget the Jewish people received half a country based on their victim status after the Holocaust which led to a new ethnic cleansing. So the past was not just let go. There were reparations and they were destructive. They were not asked from the guilty parties ethnic group which I agree is giving a subset of the BLM movement racist tendencies but from a group of people that had nothing it with the Holocaust at all. So it is quite hypocritical to get political and leaving that part out. Shame on you.
