The events surrounding the fall of Babel are fundamental to the entire story of Arknights. It would've _necessarily_ had to have been one of the earliest things planned out.

I wrote all about this back in 2021-22 just from that Priestess scene in chapter 8 (M8-8 after) I wrote all about how originium works, how it stores information, shapes matter and species, causes civilizations to grow and finally how could humans use it to cause war(Like Theresis rn) and then fill the land with originium, repeating the cycle of life.

It reminds me of a whale. Maybe this was a reference to Jonah and the whale story from the Bible? Arknight has alittle bit of Judeo Christian inspiration and theme in the storylore. Jonah was saved from drowning with a whale and after 3 days in the belly went out and he continued his journey to be a Prophet to save humanity. Sorta like how amnesia Doktah woke up and attempt to save Terra and correct his mistakes

I honestly don't think they planned this out 5 years ago. The sword stabbing does not make much sense as a mean of transferring the black crown. We see that Theresa got the crown by picking it up after the last king died.
