Was a bit of a dive, but Tom did turn in on you and was driving rather aggressively. Would love to have seen his POV, because your move was very obvious. I might have waited a lap or two, as he was starting to make mistakes, but job done either way.

This looks like great fun, I am going to have to try it out!

Lap 1 was interesting. I was watching you mirrors into the chicane and wondered for a moment if you'd gone the wrong way on the track 🤣 Unfortunately John, despite the fact you locked the brakes, that was always going to happen with Tom if you wanted to get past him. He'd shown his hand so many times before that, that he was simply going to either turn in at the apex like you're not there or weave in front of you to block you.

Nords is the one track it really doesn't matter how slow you are, it's just about taking your time and picking your way through the carnage. As you eluded, Niklas cost you the chance of another position at the end there. Not sure why he felt the need to defend so hard, knowing full well that his car was bashed up and was slow. Anyway, great result John. Oh also, I wonder if Dawid has come back from his trip to space yet 🚀

Good race John. Seemed that you were quick in S1, but because of the track layout, you always found yourself boxed in and unable to do anything. Some good close racing in this one, I've had quite a few races similar this week and it's been some of the most enjoyable racing I've had so far on the platform, and it looked like you were really having fun with it as well 👍🏻

Good job on the result, considering you weren't that confident before the lights went out. Those results are sometimes the ones that feel the most rewarding. Catch you on track next season mate👍🏻

That was tough one John as everyone seemed to be pretty equal on pace. I was waiting for the guy in the chrome car to come a cropper over the kerbs and he didn't disappoint. It will take a while to get comfortable in the new rig.

You kept it clean John and sometimes that's as good a result as any, especially when you're in a pack like that and everyone is looking for something to get past the car in front 👍🏻

Welcome back! I put a cushion under my backside to get the angles right after tilting the seat back as far as it would go.

Welcome back John, maybe not the introduction race you wanted, but you've got one in the rig under your belt now. I'm sure you'll adapt to the new driving position / setup in no time 👍🏻

VIR is an Amazing track, but a lot of people seem to overcook turn 1! When I moved to a profile rig, it was getting the pedals in a comfortable position that took me the longest too. I think I was adjusting the pedal plate a couple of times a week to either a slightly different height or angle until I eventually found my sweet spot!
