Samsung repair is a scam. Wanted to get my mother's phone repaired. They lost it in between telling me I sent it too late and the parcel code has expired. We got it back after 2 months unrepaired and completely scratched. They blame it on Deutsche Post. F*** you Samsung.

The best thing about Android. It's seriously customisable, unlike Apple, which still lives in the dark ages.

so repair shop wise if you're a Samsung repair partner and you were to take this in and repair it, you would have to do buy backs for this and once Samsung receives it they would claw back the screen price because they would deem it physical damage. sending it directly to Samsung however will most likely fix it. that screen price is set by Samsung too btw

Pls don't let this kinda problem to discourage innovation. We are the beta user afterall. Or else the cycle of smartphone would be endup like iphone adding something, removing something, downgrading something, meanwhile upscaling the price in the name of exclusivity.

You go lucky. My phone has never been dropped or abused, the case and protector were put on immediately after I took it out of the box… the rubber piece popped out of the inside of the hinge (moving part) and they refuse to fix it stating there is physical damage to the phone…I told them if there is any damage to the phone, it’s because their tech dropped it, etc… I sip dishes so I had plenty of padding for shipping, you could’ve dropped the box out of a plane and likely wouldn’t have any damage. I did research and found that this is a frequent problem, and it seems they tell everyone the same thing “physical damage, not under warranty”…until someone realizes that , hey..this is happening to all these phone with not a single scratch comes up and says that yes…it is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT

Foldable phones should have 2 separate screens, like a flip phone, but act as one like a dual monitor setup. You can't change my mind

Any further problem with screen Samsung will say that plastic film that you peeled off wasn't meant to be removed 😅

So heads up on anything folding be very careful you know what you're going into alot of carriers and even samsung won't replace or let you upgrade your phone if the folding screen is damaged even the slightest mark down the screen such as the crease they deem as damage and you will need to fix before trading in or upgrading. Just alittle experience I had with my fold 3 I traded it in and they billed me for the crease line running down the middle said it was damage when it's normal wear and tear.
