Visiting Edinburgh’s Christmas Market 🎄🎅🏻
Meeting Dan for a visit to Edinburgh’s Christmas 2024. We took a ride on the LNER Big Wheel, a look around the Christmassy stalls, a drink of Gluhwein, a walk through Princes Street Gardens, admiring the castle all lit up! Dinner at Wagamamas followed by cocktails at ‘Heads and Tails’ We didn’t see all of the attractions - but we made a start! Still more to see another time. Edwinterfest.com

Importing and storing old amaryllis bulbs , buying and potting up new bulbs. EJ! I love your channel - your Milts are amazing! How do you water in self watering pots over the winter - let them dry out a bit? Your climate might be a bit warmer than mine.
Gorgeous orchids! Ones I can’t buy in Australia. They are Nelly Islers I just saw on ‘SaGa RUclips’ from Holland I think. The larger oncidium type looks like my Beallaras.

Hows this actually work without a artificial light source? Google says brine shrimp need light to hatch out, this is totally dark inside? Can anyone explain this?
Hi, natural light encourages the brine shrimp to move to the collecting cup in the centre. I don’t think they need the light to hatch but they are attracted to the light when they have hatched and that helps to separate them from the cysts.
