@@SincerelyOnyi everybody starts somewhere, somehow, sometime..... But 40 before 40....thats a real good start! Take in easy steps, and once you catch on to how easy your balance kicks in...take it even easier. Just because you can stay upright, is NOT an invitation to criuse the street at will. Ride the parks, ride the trails.... And for gods sake, ride with a helmet!!!!

@@SincerelyOnyi OMG: " Getting myself a bike...." Now, theres a red meat question for any avid rider. But first, ask yourself, where do i intend to ride....and. how much? A step thru frame, and a comfy seat, makes the learning curve smoother. As well, maybe check online/community market boards/police auction/etc to find a better value used bike
I did the same thing when I was learning to ride a bike! Kept repeating: just keep swimming

Have very set boundaries that you praise when met and give lots of love avoid of demands. My son is nonverbal and autistic and although he gets frustrated on an odd occasion, he overall has such a sweet and kind demeanor.
