Our ride on August 5, 2023 from our home base at the Cafe Calabria on Commercial Drive to lunch at the Milltown Bar & Grill along the Fraser River.

I had a cycling accident in late September and ended up wearing a neck brace for two months. During this time, unable to ride a bike, I decided to photograph the changing leaves in Quilchena Park, near my home. This is the result. I went out every day, rain or shine, and did a circuit of the park - photographing from 30 marked locations. Those still photographs were then combined to make this v...

This time-lapse video of the view from my office was compiled from a selection of over 30,000 images shot between September 2020 and September 2021. The music is "Wiebe" from the album "Postcards from My Piano" by Simon Kendall (used by permission).

It was a hot and dry July and August. The video was shot the day before the rains came back.

In August of 1978 I travelled with my friends Fritz and Theresa Duernberger and their 1965 Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ (Tubulare Zagato) to the Historic Auto Races in Monterey, California. This is a short film about the experience. Shot on silent Super 8 film, edited and then sent out for sound striping. The audio was added later using an Elmo ST-1200HD sound projector.
