I saw David in Madison Square Garden last Monday and this arrangement of The Great Gig In The Sky was FANTASTIC. Absolutely beautiful. Dave's daughter singing was really special. What a great show!!!

Как же сострадаю и сочувствую, что один из основателей моей самой любимой команды НАВСЕГДА, Сид Барретт, из-за страшных наркотиков, которые были распростроняемы и тогда, и сегодня, теми преступными синдикатами, возглавляемыми людьми без чести и совести, которые несут ответственность за погубленные жизни миллионов и миллионов человек по всему лицу земли !!! Но, мне известно из Библии, которой можно доверять абсолютно, что на Высшем Суде Бога они ответят за свои преступления по полной программе, или уже ответили !!! В Библейской книге Екклесиаст 8 глава 11 -- 13 написано: "Не скоро совершается суд над худыми делами; от этого и не страшится сердце сынов человеческих делать зло. Хотя грешник сто раз делает зло и коснеет в нём, но я знаю, что благо будет боящимся Бога, которые благоговеют перед лицом Его; а нечестивому не будет добра, и, подобно тени, недолго продержиться тот, кто не благоговеет перед Богом" !!! Но мне так искренне жаль Сида и других талантливых и прекрасных музыкантов и певцов, и, вообще, всех-всех-всех, которых сгубили наркотики...(Дженис Джоплин, Хендрикс..., Джим Моррисон и множество других...) Я, являясь евангельской христианкой, учусь у своего Главного Учителя и Господа Иисуса Христа, именно той любви, которой Он учит всех желающих в Евангелиях, в Библии !!! И из Библии, которой только и можно доверять, АБСОЛЮТНО, поскольку только Она является единственным Словом Бога !!! И в Ней находится множество радостных вестей, одна из которых гласит, что все умершие люди, до страшного суда, будут воскрешены !!! В том числе и Сид Барретт...

I don't get this fan thing. Paul McCartney wrote/recorded NO MORE LONELY NIGHTS in 1984. The song and performance is great. Then Gilmores solo comes in and steps all over it. Ugly. Noisey.
