Sorry to tell you that I have completed 4 chapters of this game but I was unable to reset the data so I decided to play first 4 chapters of this game with the gears I got after completing each chapter in sequence. You may find this unfair gameplay but I can't reset the upgrades but until 5th chapter I will not do any upgrade and from chapter 5 there would be no cheating.
