In one of my videos, I stress the importance of body structure when your performing a stance. In 2019, I was invited to the local community college to give an hour seminar on Taiji and Qigong. I demonstrated the importance of a stance. If your body structure is not position correctly, you will lose your balance or stance. I want to make this clear, this is not a Qigong trick, this is body posit...

Hi Ron, the focus is on the low heel kick, the palm strike is really not a palm strike, the palm is to deflect an incoming grab or punch. After deflecting you fist the palm as to grab and pull someone downward. Hope that helps.
I appreciate your words of advice at the end of the lesson. In this age when guns rule decades of practice can be erased with the pull of a trigger. So, if you are not doing this for fun, health, and appreciation of the art, what is the point? Thanks Al.
Hey Al, quick Q. When doing the simultaneous palm strike/heel kick where is our focus? On the palm or in the direction of the kick?
Thank you, you do 1000 times!!!
The eyes should be looking to where your punching, I notice that when I’m in the rooster stance I neglected to look in that direction to where my intentions is directed. Need to be more cognizant even when filming of where the head and eyes should be positioned. Good question and thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Hey, Al. Where do the eyes look when punching in rooster stance?
Nice warm-up! Relaxing, calming, and in the end invigorating!
This is an excellent mix of balance, strength, and flexibility! Definitely worth attempting to duplicate. It's inspiring to see a young dude like you in such good shape! 👏 (show-off! 😉)
Great technique 😮
This Great!!
Thank you, enjoy!!
