When you are not ranked, you become invisible to possible recruits, especially high school players. To say it doesn’t matter is really stretching it!

We pay players is pating off! Of course the program coaching, schemes and success adds to the facilities being elite. Lots of good reasons to join Baylor.

Finn was probably the worst transfer addition we’ve ever gotten.

A blue-chip nose tackle is a huge get! Keep working on the trenches in the portal and maybe a d-back or linebacker.

Brewer, Bohannon, Shapen, Zeno, Drones, Martinez and other qbs left. Finn was a waste of money. Robertson was a rare good qb transfer in. Do we really want to bring in more portal qbs and risk running off the two backup blue-chip qbs we have? Let our developing qbs practice with the blue-chip receivers and running backs that we actually recruited. Some qbs play very well straight out of high school. I'm just saying have faith in our own recruits instead of someone that entered the portal for some reason. Develop the qbs on the roster and have a little faith in them. Our offensive coaches including Spavital are pretty darn good at developing offensive skill players. If we absolutely *need* another transfer qb I'm sure we'll bring one in. But we haven't had much success with transfer qbs either coming or going.

At 2-4 during the bye week one thing in particular happened. Coach Aranda simplified the defense. Other than Coach Spavital's offense hitting high gear and Sawyer playing like an All-American the players answered what happened during the post game after smoking Tech. The simplified defense let them play instead of doing mental gymnastics first. I'm sure Coach Aranda remembers this and doesn't install too much mental work into the defense in preparation for LSU.

Earning respect! The first 3 games showed who they are. 6 wins straight they should been earned our respect! Sicem 🐻🙏🏿

Keep him baylor...........don't send him out ............and for sure watch this to go to sleep very quickly ...........coach take some vitamin c and multi vitamin..........

I like Dave’s integrity, he explained his concerns about NIL in a very reasonable and empathic fashion. Listen closely. This is the most critical factor.

OU is due to become the next arkansas - irrelevant outside state borders.

Alot of disrespect to sawer and Bryson. as far as 1st or second team all conference. Sawer was the fifth best QB in the nation as far as rating etc.

I usually attend the TCU games in Waco, this year was fortunate that it became a black out game. I am a Baylor fan, daughter is graduate/alumni, we live far North Texas. Alone, get a big dog, that's how my daughter passed her time alone in Waco, then Med-School and finally Residence. Dog kept her safe and having company in general.

kid may be all world but doesn't have an impressive offer list. we shall see. How is it other programs nab legacies & BU fails to nab its legacies? BU class ranked below ut (can only sign so many), aggy (mediocre no matter conf), ou (lots of losing now), ark (at best a minor player in conf), tcu (burple frog mascot, seriously?), cu (coach prime 1 trick pony), smu (new staff, tiny stadium, shaky conf)... acceptable?

Gonna be a lot of transfers going out. As long as we keep Washington and Pendergrass too.

This looks like a very good signing class with guys that can contribute early.

Baylor 2x Dad here, Great turnaround for the season! It was fun to watch! The offense looks like the RG3 teams of the past. I am sure all Baylor fans are excited for the bowl game and next year's team and hopefully the season ends with win #9!! However, if we all want to get back to the Big 12 championship, be a top 10 team and be in next year's CFP conversation the offense has to re-load but defense will be the key. Like coach Aranda said, it seems like they were destined to give up 30 points a game, can't win a lot of games giving up so many points every Saturday. They have to have some serious upgrades and get some of the talent that UT & Georgia recruit to come to Baylor. Coach Aranda and staff should spend every free moment trying to figure out how they can become a top 10 defense Nationally next year! Great finish to 2024!!

Yeah Coach! Your alumni and fans counted you out. You said that your team was resilient and that they wouldn't implode this year. I got your receipts, Sir!

Give Aranda an extension, good coach and runs a good program

The extra 3-4 weeks of practice for the bowl game is so important. It allows the underclassmen to hone their skills and allows the starters to smooth out the wrinkles that the season exposed. Last year's 3-9 and no extra practice surely contributed to this year's slow start just as changing the offensive scheme did. Ultimately the coaches and the players put together a much better season than the pundits expected and as a staunch fan of all things Bears I personally am very proud of the team and the program. It is exciting right now expecting future improvement and expectations for that improvement wants next season to hurry up and get here. Looking for blue skies instead of blue eyes. SIC 'EM BEARS!!!
