Tweed Valley Summit Challenge

Jack suggested trying to summit Glentress, Cademuir, Minch Moor and Golfie in a day! The weather wasn’t on our side (neither were our legs) but we had an awesome day out nevertheless 🤟🏼 Fancy following elsewhere? Amsterdam was amazing. We'll definitely be back for more than a few hours, the Scottish style weather was a massive relief after weeks of heat - and Anne Franks house was one of the most interesting stops of our trip. Rome was our favourite city of our trip by far! We thought the coliseum was absolutely amazing even in 35 degrees heat. The culture here as well as the people was lovely as well as the delicious vegan pizza and pasta! We hope you enjoy our adventures round Rome, and stay tuned for Marseilles. Interrail Adventures - Milan

Milan was possibly our least favourite stop on our travels - we think with more planning and thought ahead of time it could have been amazing but we added it into our plan pretty late on! We still had an amazing time exploring the city, shops, and eating great vegan ice cream. Fancy following elsewhere? Instagram - finlay.emmott Han's insta - hannahmcnair24 TikTok ...

We had an awesome time in Venice - we both loved the ferry busses, eating on the street and exploring the stunning winding streets of the City. Interrail adventures - Ljubljana + Bled

After an interesting experience on a Budapest-ian night train we spent a very early morning exploring the streets of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. From here we caught the train to the small lake town of Bled and had a brilliant two days swimming, ice cream eating and exploring. Next up is Italy, with three separate stops in Venice, Milan and Rome which were all great. Fancy following else...

HOW TO BACKHOP - A quick backhop tutorial.
Trail builders need to do somthing up there, they also need to hurry up with the hillend bike park
Worst video eber seen, given the stunning lace you are in. Let the hills n surrounding be the stars n stop spinning the camera about n talking absolute bollocks trying ti be cool. The hill is cool, and your cool when u just cycle n enjoy it
Thank you for getting to the point! Saw another review on this that was over 8 minutes! Really?! You told me all I needed to know: it fits stuff and works!
I've filmed most of the tracks and trails of Lews Castle Grounds on an ebike It was all done using battery only as being 70+ pedaling is a bit difficult www.youtube.com/@R_McGeddon117/videos
I've filmed most of Lews Castle Grounds tracks on my ebike I've used battery all the way, no pedaling, since old decrepit cronies 70 y.o.+ like myself find pedaling not so easy but still like to get around the grounds www.youtube.com/@R_McGeddon117/videos
Great video I’m from Stornoway and ride my bike in the grounds keep it up🚵♀️🚵🚵♂️👍
Great tutorial, i learned a lot and fast talk hurry hurry.
I’m worn out watching. Well done.
slayyyyy
Awesome video
Windy corner is so fun to crash on, u just tip over slowly😂
Get down to Corstorphine hill man
I love the actual dirt on your bike
What size is ur coil shock you got I got rocky mountain and would like to change to a coil but I can't find size same bike
icl red graded trails are best ones
love the sound of the creaking Rocky
Finally, after a whistle stop tour, back to Scotland. Loved Finlay's disapproval of the bikes in Amsterdam.
Glad to be back amongst real bikes... planning the next adventure though!

Is Hannah ALWAYS right Finlay? 😀
I’m very occasionally right! Usually when it’s bike related…
Interesting seeing Budapest and it took me a moment to realise you were not having a second European holiday. 'Volkswagen Caddy' - not everyone will understand why it was worthy of a mention LOL
Think the yellow is better than mums green! Yes sadly not on another holiday… just finally getting round to editing all the videos
Baths in Budapest are lovely the walk back into town is a bit run down though
Loving the vlog style content
Thanks!
The architecture is mad. Also the best dairy-free Ice cream ever had. I have G7x M2 and its a pretty awesome camera. Focus is a little slow if changing focus between close and distant and zooming in while filming is painfully slow. Know a few people who use it really well.
For me, Vienna is just ok. It's nicer around Christmastime with the lights around Stephansplatz Plaza. Compared to Prague it is expensive and not as friendly. It's very commercial in the centre. If I were shopping for a Montblanc pen or Hublot watch, it would be great. It's also largely re-built, and I like old, original buildings...
Oh, as a side note the horses at the Vienna riding school were saved by the USA at the end of WW2, which preserved their lineage. They were moved from Vienna to the Czech Republic toward the end of the war when Vienna was getting bombed. There was concern the Soviets would kill and eat them when they found them in the Czech Republic, so the Americans saved the breed through what was known as Operation Cowboy...
Shlosh helbry
A lovely spot
Sick, bro. Prague is amazing, but your city Edinburgh, is absolutely beautiful as well. I was there a couple of weeks ago for the second time and god damn 🏴
Another good video Finlay. You’re certainly getting around. Take care both of you.
Thank you! We’ve got a week left now - on the train to Rome at the moment
Loving these, keep it up bro! Also, what is the guy running from at 7:05?
Thank you Hector B 😁 probably some scary Czech statue…
Microwave Water 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Unbelievably efficient!!
Prague is Awesome. Might be too late but you can go on pedal boats on the river and get a few sights incuding Dancing House (very cool building). Cheap Beer as well. Warning be careful of cash machines 95% of them are scams
7:45 NOOO its awesome you can go onto the roof and get some awesome views
Wait til you see windy corner now, I rebuilt most of it this year 🤙🏻
Do you still have to wear masks in Germany ?
On public transport yeah - but most places are make free!
@@FinlayEmmott have a good trip you two, will you be going any mtb or will Hannah not let you
Pretty much the whole of Europe still requires Mask on public transport (and taxis) and I think Hospitals.
Love the video Finlay, carry on enjoying your travels.
Thank you!!
first
Weeoww
what size bike do you have and what size shock did you ended up getting?
Sick vid!
sweettt
Nice one Finlay
That bike needs a clean 🤣😅
If I leave it long enough the mud should just fall off right??
@@FinlayEmmott when the mud gets too heavy or you run out of tyre clearance 😂😂
What are the pros and cons of the coil on the altitude so far? Does it jump differently etc?
Hey this is sweet man. I'm working on replacing all of the bearings on this exact bike. Do you still like the probearing tools? Do they do a decent job of removing all of the bearings and pressing them back in? I know that the eyelet bearings aren't supported in their kit, what have you done with that?
Yo! The bearing pro tools are pretty decent. Sometimes take a few attempts but I’ve always got the bearings out. I’ve actually not done the shock eyelet myself, I had them replaced by a bike shop when I changed my shock because getting the right tool seemed to be a pain. Think that’s the most annoying thing about the bike!
Pressing back in has always been super smooth and easy though
@@FinlayEmmott Did those tools work well for the rest of the frame bearings? ruclips.net/video/VsissREvas8/видео.html That guy has a nice woodvise setup for yanking the cups it seems.
Good bitta kit these glasses!
This series should be called “shopping with finlay”
When you come out of spanner go right for a few hundred meters and do liver damage lower, so much better than that overgrown path
Ahh sick thanks 🤙🏼
“It’s in your house you ****” 😂
Good to see another video Finlay
🤟sick vid🤙
Back on the content grind! 🤟
