This remains my #1 favorite build on YT, my #2 is the 58/9 stretch airport limo by Night Shift Kustoms. I always dig Samurai's from a distance, esp. the earlier, bead-rolled bodies.
@@frankfurther3828 Thank you a bunch Frank, I will have to check that one out. Take care
Good lord.. I got lost about halfway through, but I got caught up by the end! You do some amazing work Glen. Now go in the house and rest a bit.
@@shedbythetracks Thanks Randahl, I have been lost for years, in the house relaxing as I type this reply.
Good fix is all the way around Glen! say hello to your brother. 👋
@@VinoRatRodbuilds Thanks Robert, will do.
Hey Glen, nice fix on the Samuri hood. The steering colum and brake booster mods look awesome. Thanks for sharing. I'm done with the cold so I'm heading south for a week, must be getting soft in my old age. Cheers
@@dannypeter6565 Thanks Danny, little bit at a time . Enjoy your week south.
Some good progress on the '59. And sounds like no end of work coming. Thanks for the update. We've been well below normal temps for the past week and got another messy storm coming thru today thru the weekend. Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 thanks Brian, lots of snow here yesterday and really cold. Take care thanks for watching.
Really enjoying this build, plus your skills and presentation. Grateful to Schneids 15 for mentioning your channel. Cheers from Brisbane Australia.
@@maxd4196 hey Max thanks for watching , take care.
Hey Glen. Things are really coming along. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
@@AndysDogHouse-h6l thank Andy, into the fun stuff now. Take care🍻🍻
261 I believe, and good for you, another lucky find!
Thank you for posting. I have a 68 whose passenger door won't stay latched. It seems like the little star wheel isn't catching all the way. I had kind of a hard time getting the window frame out. I'll try again. Thank you
@@timbarry5080 awesome thanks for watching
Fantastic body work on this one Glen !
@@brianquilty687 Thank you
Like the way you used the press and the sockets to make that piece for the floor.

@@garyscarstuff you bet Gary thanks for watching. Take care
Looks great Glen. 👍
@@VinoRatRodbuilds thanks Robert
Thank you for the up date Glen.
@@frankfurther3828 No problem Frank
You're a busy man! Hey Glenn what if you put some pressure on top of the tank then heat it up nicely then let it cool with the weight on the tank?
@@bigblockkings1031 hey Gorni, thanks for watching, I I tried leaving it clamped down in the right position overnight and it still popped back, but I think it was all for nothing as I don't know how to read a tape measure cuz it all fits. DUH. Take care
@glenmiller3783 😂😂
I'll bet you're pretty excited to see the Plymouth again!! Ha! The truck looks great
@@shedbythetracks lol your a funny guy Randahl, once it's done I won't have to look at it till it's done. Take care
You have a ton of projects to keep you busy
@@NathansMoparGarage oh ya sitting around is not good for an old man.
You are going to be busy, great job on the 59 Glen. 💯👍
@@rustedjunkgarage3316 Thanks Steve, lol no days off when your retired.
Hey Glen, thanks for the up date. More cold and snow is in the mail. Stay warm. Cheers
@@dannypeter6565 Thanks for watching Danny, yup but only a little over a month and it will be over.
Hey Glen. YEAH. Canadian weather. The truck is coming along. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
@@AndysDogHouse Thanks for Watching Andy, take care.
Welcome back 😅
Great job! I think if you add "Chevrolet" and "Apache" to the videos titles would help to get more views and subscribers
@@oacumulador thank you I will give that a try.
Look's good.
Great job on that fender !
@@brianquilty687 Thank you, that was a hell of a dent. Take care
Wow, lots of work ahead. I'm enjoying watching this job.
@@brianquilty687 Thank you Brian.
Everything looks so nice, yes this is the kind of project you can’t wait to get out in the garage, and we are really enjoying it too, going to be a sweet truck, catch you on the next one Glen😀😀
@@DesertRatFabrication Thanks Mike, lot more fun to work on now the rust is gone. Take care
That hood latch looks really stout. Should have no worries with that. The chassis looks great. Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 Thanks Brian, I think the latch is a good upgrade. Take care.
Hey Glen. Great vide. Learn something every day. Stay warm my friend. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍
@@AndysDogHouse-h6l hey Andy thanks for watching, take care🍺🍺
The hoodlacht replacement is an excellent idea and the frame is wow! Nice work Glen 👏
@@bigblockkings1031 thanks Gorni, take care.
Frame looks awesome! Chevy guys heads are exploding putting a Mopar hood latch on there lol
@@garyscarstuff Thank you Gary, I guess there has to be one good part on the truck
You had to work some Dodge in there somehow!
@@noccis3448 lol I tried to use the Chevy one just too clunky.
That latch looks factory. Nice paint job on the frame.
@@NathansMoparGarage thanks Nathan.
Nice job on the frame. My 2000 Chevy Silverado cracked in half three years ago. Frame shop welded it back together. Still on the road. 👍
@@OldManInFesserton thank you, that's crazy, it must be poor quality steel. Take care
@ Yah perhaps the steel is recycled. Plus I’m in Ontario so the salt is brutal on vehicles. 🚗 🧂🚗🧂🚗🧂
@OldManInFesserton I hear ya, that's where this frame came from.
That's some nice engineering Glen. It'll be on the road in no time! Cheers
@@shedbythetracks thanks Randahl, only if no time is a year.😁 take care
Keep up the good work buddy!
@rodsandkustomswithlars thank you Lars
Awesome work Glen.
@@VinoRatRodbuilds thanks Robert , one detail at a time.
It's all the little bits that make it something. Any updates on the Plymouth? Cheers Glen
@@dannypeter6565 Thanks Danny. The Plymouth is being fitted to is replacement frame. Should be back here late February. Take care

Awesome. Almost there. I like the hood latch. Idea😁😁😁
@@jameswoolston1415 thanks James, real inexpensive upgrade.
That is some good engineering, looks awesome Glen😀😀
Thanks Mike
Great progress Glen, sounds like you have the welder dialed in, that thicker wire welds up nice, see you on the hinge video 😀😀
@@DesertRatFabrication Thanks Mike, it sure welds heavy metal better than the thin stuff. Take care.
Great repair. Well less then $500 of parts and labour for sure. Another great upgrade on the old '59. Great video. Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 thanks Brian, gotta save a buck wherever possible. Take care
Really nice work on the chassis. It's gonna look great under the old '59. Water in the fuel and freezing temps are never a good mix. Have had that happen more then I care to remember. The Polar Vortex has just left Ontario where I am. And we get more snow today as a going-away gift!! Be safe and stay well.
@@briankinnear7461 Thanks Brian, just finishing up th paint on the frame today. The polar vortex Ilyas been gone a few days here, but the wind and the snow replaced it. 😐 I can finally park the tractor in the shed so hopefully no more water problems. Take care.
looks like the hood benders off my old gmc pick up
@@nonenone1249 not to hard to fix thanks for watching.
Nicely done in the end! You are right being in Canada does pretty much double the cost of parts for our project cars.
@@garyscarstuff Thanks Gary, ya it makes it pretty difficult. Take care
Amazon sells a really nice transmission line kit and it’s only like 80 bucks. I put them in everything… by the way, you’re a really good welder I can just tell by the sound 🤟🍺
@@j-ridecustoms cool I will have to check Amazon. The welding sound is recorded I didn't want you to hear the real thing. Lol. Take care 🍻
Great recovery of those hinges...Wonder if you be able to remake them from scratch , you do have the skills to do so
@@JustinPaul1st Thank you Justin, they would be a challenge to make for sure, pretty heavy material and hardened steel in places. Take care.
