Yup! Definitely my fav server so far. the diversity in the building options (and especially all of the weapons XD) is what drew me in initially. But everything that I've done so far from mining and building to roaching and pvp has been very entertaining! You have something truly special here in this community that I really haven't seen anywhere else.

This is exciting a new system update and a new dlc though i haven't been playing se for long its a great game and it's fun to play.

Another member mentioned they might bring the keen servers down and update for a few days before relaunching them, so the 14th would then make sense. Just a long time to have your official servers down, but who really knows.

Everone will need a fresh wipe for this one. Stone industrys will DEF require a fresh wipe, there map is like 4+ Years old..

@@StoneIndustriesGaming based solely on some ‘cryptic non-comments’ from SE streamers I watch, I suspect the plan is to take the servers down for the update, wipe them, and run some extended, multi-day testing with a select sub-set of the community (probably those known for pushing certain aspects to their limits on a regular basis) in order to shake out any last-minute bugs/issues that didn’t turn up in testing. Just a guess, though.

Server wipe on the 8th then server down for maintenance until the 14th when update is released

A lot of people on the live stream yesterday were still thinking either the 14th or 21st. That is where my guess was originally as well before the whole "wiping" on the 8th came into play. Since they didn't announce anything yet for an official keen live stream.. the 7th is looking a lot less likely as they usually announce something a week or so earlier.

I thought I had a few good lines in there, mostly corny stuff, though. I'll try to avoid the Dad jokes 😃

It's all speculation. However, in the post where they announced the wipe date, the mention of keeping them offline and upgrades isn't there unless I am missing it somewhere (possible). "From Tuesday, October 8, all official servers will undergo a full wipe to ensure smooth performance and apply the latest changes. This means all progress on these servers will be reset." It's good for them that they are doing upgrades, though. When we push the new map, we will do the same so that you might be right!

​@@gamerelite3989 I would have been inclined to agree, but on yesterdays live stream Xocliw said they have changed their update days to Mondays. Which only leaves the 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th.

@@charlesmacgugan2936 hmmm errr i dont think you read the post there charles XD all dates were mentionned on mondays 7th 14th but like i said at the end we do not know when its the debate weither its post wipe or before wipe that update will roll but i digress :)

At this point all of you are saying next week or the week after are the likely days so for some one like me who works 6 days a week time will pass faster so one -> two weeks im ready to go.

I may finish the scenario to get "warmed up" for something exciting.

After a while, it's more of an administrative role and less players. Like in the army, a General no longer holds the gun or flies the plane. However, it has been exciting to get more on server time while making these videos!

I think the unique way they made it obtainable is something to play with and learn from. The forcing of merge blocks while not idle is cool.

We can always think about setting up prototech as prosonic tier perofrmace wise to let people have an in between way to upgrade if the normal route is to exaustive for them 🙂looking forward to the wipe and update

If they're like any other component in the game, we can add them to the containers on the Roach Ships. I am not too worried; it just won't be a day-one thing, as I am sure we will be busy putting out fires.

I want to say the voice on this is only an 8/10.. but I am glad to see the video quality going up from a 4/10 on the first one. Just wait until we learn to do fancier effects! Each video will get better
