Thanks! I haven't done anything about the holes yet. I agree, it seems very odd that they would do it this way. I want to go to the dealership and look at one that has already been done by them to see if they did anything different. I didn't need to trim the rubber, as it just folded under the base of the arm rest, but another reason to see what one looks like at the dealership. I will report back what I find out.

@@spyderadventures ok cool. I also want to look at a dealership. We rode the sea to sky at a Can Am demo but didn’t pay attention armrests at that point. Why didn’t your Sea to Sky come with them installed? I thought that was part of the package.

@@gregfaucher6338 No, the armrests do not come with it. The backrest and the paint matched back panel cover for "If" you want to remove the trunk does though. Don't leave the dealership without them. Of course once you put the armrests on, the back panel cover I think would look wierd, so I'm thinking I may try to sell it. The lower light under the frunk doesn't come with it either, so be sure to check out my video on that. Super easy install, but don't buy the can am one for $250+, get the #TRICLED one for around $60.

@@spyderadventures yes I saw the front light. I like it and the simplicity of the install. I was looking at the Can Am one but will check out the other. It’s very bright. Does it look strange being brighter than the lights above it?

@@gregfaucher6338 I don't think it looks bad at all. I put the #spyderpops cyclops light above it at the frunk hinge. :) I like a lot of lights, be seen, not hit!

Luckily the TRICLED stuff is all plug and play, but the accessory is what they call the gps. The receiver that it is stuck in is a dud. The wire has the power.

I took it off, cut off the tabs, ground down the sides a bit and put it back on, no issues since

I had to buy the harness separately. I had the dealer install the harness, but don't really like how they did it, so on the next spyder i will probably do that myself.

Yes, i got mine there too! The trailer hitch is the oem one.

Yes, i called Reggie at Tricled and he told me how to fix it but i cant remember how..

Hi Dan! Removing the panels is really simple! I was shocked! I bought the door opener from spyder pops and the button comes with the controller. Would love to meet up some time!

Once you take off the side panels, the button panel is free. It is actually held where it is by the two (left and right) panels that go all the way to the front.

@@spyderadventures Thanks for the information about the panel removal. I'm going to check that out this weekend. So I was telling my wife about your Facebook link and she tells me she joined the group weeks ago. Made me laugh. I don't do Facebook so I'll rely on her.

Is there room below the control panel for the garage door module or did you have to route it somewhere else? On pre-2020 Spyder RT’s it went in the right speaker grill area.

@@spyderadventures Yes I like the strobe as well. I bought the kit from Lamonster that makes the top case break light strobe and includes 2 led strips that wire in to strobe and 2 others that are red running lights they adhere to the top case. I have a video on RUclips were I show my light mods. My brother has a RT Limited and he said BRP should have made a lot it factory.
