During the festive season, GWR had engineering work taking place between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. This allowed HS2 to keep going but meant that GWR were diverting to London Euston. GWR would then share the same track as the WCML trains until Queen’s Park where GWR head through Acton area and past Acton Mainline Station towards Ealing Broadway! Well, Last Weekend marked the end of Avanti West Coast’s (AWC) Voyagers on the West Coast Mainline (WCML). Thankfully, I was able to catch two sets of Voyagers at Euston on Friday 14th December.
