New Home Sales Down 91%, But Why Are Resale Homes Rebounding?
Our average price is starting to increase along with the number of sales. However, new contruction homes are plunging even lower and prices are down over 30% since the peak. Preconstruction condos are dropping faster, putting their prices back to the lowest level Toronto has seen since 2020.

Great Info! However, too many were optimistic at the wrong time, now negative at the wrong time. This rate cut was a huge economic indicator that people are not really understanding. Buyer's ain't acting cause its still way too expensive still. Unemployment on the rise. Inflation is going so low because economy is tanking. People cannot afford! It's true things are cooling off and rates are going down, but that doesn't undo all the inflation thats already happened.

@@michaelduggal8983 Allow things to unravel by itself but its not up to us. The government will always try to fix it. At this rate the only people that can afford is the wealthy and people who are willing to join incomes to purchase the homes. Government doesn't want reduced prices because it helps absolutely no one except for the people who dont have homes. The higher the prices, the more the government will collect in taxes and this is their main objective.

Unfortunately, Canada is a unique example in the G7, where such ponzy scams are easily executed with no accountability. If the government can sell visas to unsuspecting terrorists and dupe the Canadian taxpayers with projects live Arrive scam, indebting generations of Canadians with housing debt should be a walk in the park. 😆
TOStar 2 days back most mortgage holders will have to refi. at higher rates from 24-27 so 3rd innings of the collapse unless rates come down to -0.5% and mortgages at -0.75% lol

As always love your videos! So much great insight and information. The biggest issue is we are in an economic lead decline, which we have not seen in a long time. This type of real estate market has not been seen since the 90's. What happened in 2017 was a policy change, not economic.
