How can Shem be the oldest if Noah was 500 when he begot his three sons (5:32), 600 when the flood began (7:6) and Shem was 100 two years after the flood (11:10)?

I routinely exchange ideas with my Jewish friends concerning biblical concepts. As I listened this morning I realized. They believe the emphasis of pleasing God involves obedience. Moses of all of Israel was the most obedient and closest in relationship with God, yet he was not allowed to enter the Promised Land because he stuck the “Rock”. I sense we have all been striking the “Rock” ever since. Thank the Lord that His mercy endures forever and that we can be forgiven not because of our own obedience but because of our faith in our Messiah’s obedience.

Actually no one saw the Crescent Moon until sundown on Friday October 4th so therefore the face of Sukkot actually doesn't start until sundown Friday the 18th. If someone saw a crescent moon before October 4th please let me know but as far as I know no one on this entire Earth saw a crescent moon before Sundown October fourth Friday. And if anyone has any questions I recently had herb solinsky on my show who is the world's best calendar expert and he's the one who confirmed this with me but if you disagree please let me know what reasons you disagree
