Everything was awesome but that 335 Larry Carlton was especially wicked.
This version of ROOM 335 is one of the best upgrades ever to Larry Carlton, arranged by Maurizio Metalli. Here is the full video, check it out ruclips.net/video/3jdU-azCaZU/видео.html . Looks like Matteo gave 110% here.
Without a doubt the most versatile (known) guitar player of the world. And certainly not just an imitator! Nor just a speed freak! His soli are personal and very beautiful. We should be happy there is a virtuoso with good taste! Thanks for making this great compilation!
You're welcome. I wish I could do even better.
@@fontanajazz I like the way he plays several styles on acoustic guitars! (My taste). Maybe someday a compilation of that? 😜😇
@@erikcouvret We already have such a video, look above in the description area for this video. Enjoy!
There are some who are on the same level..if not better. Check Max Ostro for example
@@fontanajazz Thanks! Seen it now! 😎
During the last 10 years, Matteo Mancuso has developed his special technique and unique style. He became so versatile that he surpassed his idols in some details. How does Matteo play other great guitarists? Check it out ruclips.net/video/iYXQ5tZuaV4/видео.html
If you search on YT, you will find out that there is not a good enough video recording of Matteo's LIVE performances. One of his typical performances was recorded by the guys from the phenomenal ALVAS Showroom from San Pedro, CA. It is a privilege to watch Matteo Mancuso directly, who gives more in concert than in the studio. Here, check it out ruclips.net/video/qEc4MLhCfJo/видео.html
Bravo les jeunes !!!!!!!!!
whooooa MONSTERS CRACKS!!!!!!!!
Matteo is simply the most talented and terrific guitarist never appeared on earth!
I like the moustache. The telecaster sound is amazing.
Matteo Mancuso is a superb guitar player, amazing in ev'ry way!👏👏👏👏👏
I'm not sure there's any other player as versatile, or as good as Matteo.I was a teen when Van Halen surfaced & We All know Edward was Great, game changing to put it mildly. Hendrix & Clapton were & Are great players. EJ, Andy Wood, Joe Bona area are All Great! Matteo is on another level...& to be solo young.I 'am personally looking forward to hearing from him for a long time to come!
Boring guitar player…
Boring comment
@@BeachBum53the guy who posted that is just an attention seeker, and probably an idiot
I'm glad he's slowed down and actually playing. I take that back, too much going up and down the scale as fast as he can. He needs a little less of that. Otherwise, the kid sounds pretty good.
It's hard to imagine that one day somebody's gonna come along that's better than Matteo, maybe in 100 years 😂.. As far as skill set is concerned he's the best I've ever heard .. It's not even fair ... what's even more amazing is he's not wicked like an Allan Holdsworth who was absolutely amazing but I always sensed something dark With Allan.. His song "Peril Premonition" is some of the most vicious guitar playing I've ever heard .. it's spellbinding and just mean spirited to the point that he would've gotten burned at the stake back in tha day when they didn't play that 😂 .. Matteo is even more skilled and versatile(If you can believe that)🤔 but he seems like a good kid.. I hope he stays that way .. The world definitely doesn't need another Jerk Musician !!!
You seem to have a high regard for the work of Allan Holdsworth, after all. MM is a new dimension, a seventh sense in music that remains modest, spontaneous and natural in sneakers and jeans. He always plays the song "Fred" at his performances.
@@fontanajazz Allan Holdsworth was a freak of nature, a Unicorn and played some of the most incredible stuff ever on guitar... Both are equally good, I was speaking to the difference in their vibes ... Allan was more mysterious and enigmatic while Matteo seems like a good kid that the world seems to not have corrupted yet😝..Stay tuned .. I think Matteo is more versatile but I could be wrong .. Josh Meader is phenomenal as well but Matteo is smh... just different !!!
@@g-love6507 Joshua? Great guitarist highly inspired by Pat Metheny. A little underrated, because he doesn't use a solid bass line.
A true acrobat on the guitar. One of the best. However, I miss the sensitivity, soul, and feeling, own style of playing. He is a fast player no doubt but not too interesting as far as arrangements and own sound are concerned. Less is more…
yes A minor pentatonic is the only scale that has feelings ... everything else is random notes.
@@zmlhezmlhe4843 Random, but damn well connected
You must have audio implants cuz it's obvious you're hard of hearing.. Was it an expensive operation ? 😂
The only bad thing about him..is that he wouldnt do a pop star antics ..too a true person..
musica senz´anima, due palle immense. Tecnicismi.
A nostalgic throwback to the 60s? 😞 I think it's better to just listen to your favorite FM radio station every day.
@@fontanajazz Radio Maria

Inconceivable! ❤👍
Perfetti!
He is amazing, and has incredible technique never seen before, however cramming as many notes as possible into a solo gets old after five minutes.
Concordo!!
meh ! fashion bullshit ,pure circus of acrobats , that is it . ....1000000 notes for one minute ? where is song ?, message? , emotion? , where is sound ?... nothing.... Speed, techinic, exhibitionism and circus, ! this is the guitar player after 1milon hours of exsercice at home ,gumnastic , technique guitarist player for, what!, where is the song?, where is the music? , the more beautiful it is, the more difficult it is today to be simple and say a lot with 3 notes,, this is art !, not with 10000000 senseless farts .here not exsist music , ...the circus of acrobats .
Thanks! Let's do it democratically, I won't delete your comment for several reasons. It is certain that one day you will find the real truth when you understand how others perceive your hasty message. 😞
In a nutshell, you're sayng that all the guitarists and composers covered by Mancuso are freaks and acrobats. Nice shot, dude! What instrument do you play, apart from your lil dull pencil?
"You r just à jealous guy" ..yea e e !
Envy is a bad mother.... f.....
🤦🏽♂️
Senza parole ❤
The most impressive with him is not the fact that he can reproduce all these great songs, but he can also improvise or even compose in these specifics styles. And I don't mean play rock chops over a blues or country tune, that's no polyvalence at all. He has the sound and the vocabulary in any style he plays. The only other player that versatile (in my opinion) was Riche Kotzen at the beginning of his carreer (now he's older and have nothing to prove). Now as a conclusion, a good joke: in a fairly old interview, Malmsteen said that if he wanted to, he could play any style, even Jazz... I understand what he meant: he's a great user of the minor melodic scale, often called "jazz" melodic scale, so he must have thought "I can play the scale, I can play Jazz, more is more..." and all that kinds of nonsenses he used to say at the time. I know, alcohol is a terrible substance 😂
Ritchie Blackmore can not copy other players-so who is the better musician- Take a guess. there aremany players on this planet who can play anything but do not have a distinctive sound for their own. So I listen to people who can create their own good music and do not have to imitate others. No offense- Mancuso is a great virtuoso- no more no less.
He can create his own music
There are 6 or 7 songs on this video written by him......Unmistakably his , doubt anyone in the world could replicate his writing process. Your comment is as fundless as the ones claiming he is the goat
@@musicagratis6368his cover material is far better than his own. No doubt about that. Still a lot to learn..
Matteo Mancuso is one of the greatest guitarists our world has ever seen!
@@MrLandale So what about of Roy Marchbank?!You probably haven't heard of him.The man went dramaticly further than Shawn Lane. His playing technique is untouchable for anyone without any exaggeration.
@dinkogrgat5188 What I mean by 'greatest' is someone with an exceptional musical vocabulary, where technique is a tool for expressing oneself. Mindless shredding and guitarists who play as fast as possible just for the sake of speed are totally pointless from a musical standpoint.
one word - Guthrie...... the real GOAT !!
No,he can't play Roy Marchbank for sure.In fact no human can play what Roy plays.Go and check Roy.He's unbelievable.
I know Roy Marchbank, for me he is excellent, a very special category. I believe John McLaughlin has a positive opinion of him. But what does the general public think? It's sad that there is no Wikipedia article about him.
After reading quite a few threads, I noticed that this video shakes up lots of egos, something that we all have to learn to dominate.... and ain´t easy

Cause there are lots of moron around…easy 😊
It seems that there is no such original video on acoustic.
One of the most extreme and severe cases of unbalanced SKILLSvsFEELING ratio in the story of guitar playing. His brain is so focussed on hitting the right notes on the rigth beat that 99% of emotions is lost. Sorry...I always get bored after just a minute and then I look for any fingerpicking blues turnaround to feel something again.
To me technique is what allows a player to fully express themselves. The more technical skill you possess, the greater your capacity to convey emotion through the instrument. While slower playing might highlight certain nuances, Matteo’s playing is far from flat or devoid of feeling-just look at minute 28:38 for a perfect example. I’d also argue that fast runs can be one of the most effective ways to inject emotion into a piece. His style masterfully combines precision with an extraordinary range of expression
@@RiccardoMerli Oh yes ... MM doesn't hide anything and despite his perfection he consciously shows his problems. Just take a close look at the interview with Rick Beato or with Paul Davids if you are a guitar player.
And by what arrogant magic do you discern another's emotions? His music does nothing for you? Fine, the problem is with your ears and your attitude, not with Matteo.
@@GreenDistantStar He said it himself - he looks for boring stuff like any blues turnaround. I can't believe this guy. Why not just go watch paint dry? Some people have no sense of music.
@@RiccardoMerli exactly!
He may be able to play anything. But I'm still waiting for him to write a good song.
Did yashia hefitz write songs….
@@jimlucas3872I Don't know. Google it. But certainly Paganini is a lot more famous and important than Jascha Heifetz. In the same way EVH is a lot more famous and important than Matteo Mancuso, at least as it stands. Playing ability will only get you so far, especially in the guitar world where this month's top shredder will soon be eclipsed by the next month's top shredder.
Actually he made an album of excellent songs. It's called "the journey".
Lucas Imbiriba is a real discovery
