I was there but we was from Shawnee Oklahoma 18 hours but you know what one thing I would do this again would not miss again short sets but so many artists concert t shirts was 50 but well spent ❤ I HAVE A WON OF A KIND 😎
I went down to the crossroads Fell down on my knees Down to the crossroads Fell down on my knees Asked the Lord above for mercy Take me, if you please I went down to the crossroads Tried to flag a ride Down to the crossroads Tried to flag a ride Nobody seemed to know me Everybody passed me by Well, I'm going down to Rosedale Take my rider by my side Going down to Rosedale Take my rider by my side We can still borrow a house, baby On the riverside Going down to Rosedale Take my rider by my side Going down to Rosedale Take my rider by my side We can still borrow a house, baby On the riverside You can run, you can run Tell my friend boy Willie Brown Run, you can run Tell my friend boy Willie Brown And I'm standing at the crossroads Believe I'm sinking down
Anton fig...I remember his days with the Paul Schaefer band on the David Letterman show when DAVID ALWAYS CALLED HIM ANTON ZIP LOL IT STILL Messes me up on his name to this very day ...
Cream was my favorite band and Crossroad was one of their best hits. Joe does a great version. Eric C & Joe B, teo of the greatest guitarists of all time
HEAY you tube what is up with taking away bad company s. Paul Rodgers number free his older line up why did you take away bad company s version of shooting star live that's is not why I got yt premium man THAT is a great version
This is Joe at his best: respectful of the blues tradition, artfully mastering Clapton's tone, with an up-temp version of this classic that adds some new notes on the guitar. Masterful!
He is a great player & performer , now go listen to Mike Bloomfield . Seriously the man everyone holds in the highest regards as the best though we that play only have favorites as there is no such thing as the best ever. Even Joe would agree & certainly about the greatness of Mike Bloomfield .
Joe is great but he butchered the shit out of this song, solo wise. I won the GC clapton crossroads contest years ago. It was a last minute thing forced on me by my friends. Did not rehearse it for one second while all the other contestants were playing his solos note for note. I won! And just made up the entire thing on the spot. That said Joe has gotten most of his playing expertise from "Eric Johnson" as you can hear it quite easily throughout his playing. Why does he not give Eric credit ever??? Strange.
Damn thats some lame drumming. Never missed a 2 or 4 on the snare. Slave to the beat. Solos sound empty.........................At least the bassist, who you can barely hear, tried to mix it up.
Yes indeed , that track from Creams Wheels of Fire is the ultimate classic track of this & one hell of song & we thank Cream & of course the late great Robert Johnson.

So happy that Joe plays it like Clapton once did.....drivin' and full of heart.
Muito bom
Wrong drum beat,
That time when the chick singer can't use a tambourine in rhythm.
The best music .love from sambation band.eylat.❤❤
Seeing him in Oct 2023 in Memphis. Totally excited.
The only other song I know that starts off this fast is "Going Home" by Ten Years After.

How bout the vocalist/tambourine player? ✌️
Joe Bonamassa gives it all he's got in every performance. He never holds anything back. Best blues guitarist I've ever heard. Love you Joe!
Totally agree, he’s the best ever🎸🎸🎸🎸💪

You never heard Gary Moore then? He was way better and more versatile!
Joe bonamama goiing down
🤣
Wow Bonamassa sounds kinda like early Clapton
I'll take Clapton and Richie Blackmore any day!
so well done,, such feeling
What gig is this from?
Tight and classy rendition. JB never disappoints. Old Hippie Cape Town.
Vocals suck on this track too...

Fantastical best rendition of classic
A fantastic version. Still think Cream did it Best.
Yes indeed , that track from Creams Wheels of Fire is the ultimate classic track of this & one hell of song & we thank Cream & of course the late great Robert Johnson.
Got to agree. Considering Eric did this in 1968, aged 23, and Joe does a good version 50 odd years later, you’ve got to say Slowhand nailed it.
Joe is THE real deal fo sho
