You have to beat the secret boss in chapters 1 - 5, then in chapter 6 head to the Great Pagoda in the New West from chapter 3. When done correctly, there should be 5 murals filled in on the walls and little Buddha will be in front of the blank center tile. He opens up a path to a secret battle. If completed, it unlocks the true ending after fighting the last boss of the game!

@@ChubbyJimRaisinBranIt was my 8th or 10th time climbing all the way up to them and was being EXTRA cautious! The amount of AI cheese and RNG BS from the Kirin x2 floor was starting to break me down! 😅

It was literally to the wire!! I must have repeated this for 2 hours before finally getting it and never looking back! I kept using combos with Square and tried to throw a magic burst in with Triangle at the end. The main damage was from the abilities. Spitflare needs to be used IMMEDIATELY and Brimstone needs to be released when you hit the red bar of the circle. Wildfire dashed as fast as I could after being pushed back. The abilities need to be used as soon as they are up without delay, like barely even a second to spare! For gear, I read the only item that scales for damage in Eikon fights is your weapon, so I had Omega Weapon Reforged equipped. I had Genji Glove +1, but as per Reddit accessories do not affect damage. I really hope any of this helps if you haven't gotten it yet! Good luck and would love to hear about your experience when you beat him!

I spoke with a few of the players who commented and they said the one thing that they did not have after this setup was the Phoenix magicite. And I had traded it to one friend, who was able to beat it afterwards. Do you have any comparable magicite to the one in my video? If not, I can trade you mine if you are playing on PS4 / PS5!

Odin is my favourite but I get it, when I first got him I thought he was horrible and his skills done no damage but when I mastered arm of darkness he became my favourite

It cuts very close with the time limit. The only tip I can provide is make sure you level your Zantetsuken bar up to 5 and make sure all enemies are either immediately around you or in your line of vision when you charge and let go. That will instantly kill all enemies without a stagger bar or a smaller health pool with a stagger bar. Don't focus each wave on killing individual enemies and instead focus more on the gauge filling to 5. Most everything will die from the charge anyway. Good luck! Keep going at it! Emerelle, do you have the Ring of Timely Strikes equipped or are you not holding the button long enough? Those are the only two issues I had before this succesful run. This was a tough one for me because I had to take the ring off and go completely manual. The timing needs to be so near perfect sometimes that it boils down to luck sometimes.

@@TheStache777 did not use the rings. sometimes I get the timing, sometimes not. But either the German tooltip (hit an enemy with the full charged ability) for those little challenges to get extra time is wrong, or I did something wrong. ^^ after few tries I finally got lucky to reach last stage with enough time left and finally did it. :)

@@TheStache777 This one bugged me too, in the preview of the move it shows Clive holding the move till well after the last marker but when I do it I do not get the bonus...and in your video it looks like you arent even getting to the 3rd marker and you get the bonus...

@@RCG706 I let the button go when it's in the red marker. The red area is the sweet spot.

The way I did it was to get Zantetsuken built up to lvl 5, which instant kills every non-boss enemy on screen. I tried without lvl 5, but that was impossible! This is by far one of the harder if not the hardest trial.

@@TheStache777 This trial is brutal. I was able to do all of the others first try with no issues. I think I'm currently on 10 attempts and slowly going crazy

Also Reid, take Ring of Timely Strikes off for this one if you have it on, because it doesn't account for the full build up. Odin and Titan's trials I had to do manually.

@@ReidZer0 Yeah, this one was no fun! I have to say that the one thing I took away from it was "how" to play his set. It tricks you, because his "super" isn't really his super move. That's why his feat costs 5,000 due to the AoE insta-kill mechanic.

For any reading this is just odin’s version of “lunge”. All the standard attacking animations are different with odin’s sword and designed to help fill the gauge.

I agree! The only thing I noticed it helping me with was slowing the enemies on occasion. But yeah, I think it's a waste of an ability slot or most likely was not using it correctly. LoL This was definitely the hardest trial!

it's used to slow time right after a long combo (or in the middle of being thrown in a combo like Ultima's combos), it's pretty useful if you use it right

Rift slip gives you time to land dancing steel in stage 3, it really isn’t great on stage 2.

I agree when used alone, but it's only to offset that at level 5 Zantetsuken kills everything instantly on screen except bosses! Once you get the hang of it though his set is pretty fun to use! That being said, this was the hardest trial for me, followed by Garuda and then Titan.

Well, I am that person, and I can say with confidence that I was terrified.

That is if you HAVE an Anubis chip by the time you explore the Undernet. RNG is different for everyone. For me, I was roaming around and unlocking gates in the Undernet as soon as I got Higsby's code and the ghost of the boss who drops it wasn't even available. I was also trying to get as many chips without abusing the chip traders when I made this video. That being said, if you have the Anubis chip, it works for sure and should totally be used. Buuuut if you are going in blind, stumble upon him and don't want to leave the deep depths of the Undernet without his chip, you at least have this option. 😊

Right?! The funny thing is that after I posted this video I must've gotten about a dozen Popup chips from the special trader while tying to get the friggin' Dropdown chip! 🤣
