Wow! This is a video from last year with two plots selling for 30m. More like the agents in Owerri generally assume Nigerians in diaspora are into drugs. Isn’t this a rip off? What does this same land cost today? 50 million? What amenities does the estate provide aside land? Here is my review of Owerri Real Estate market for anyone looking to invest. It is not an assessment of this video. I love this content creator and she makes quality videos. Now, these Estate managers only do the bare minimum by providing ONLY lands and once the lands are sold out, they abandon the estate and move to next land. Then repeat the same scam and call it phase 1/2. Creating an illusion that the first project was a success. So many estates in Owerri that have no basic infrastructures. Just land. No drainage system, no address, no proper wide roads and in some cases 30 feet access roads that can’t take two cars travelling in opposite direction. Meanwhile, once you buy the land from the Estate management, you’d pay hidden fees like Survey fee, Legal documentation fee, Infrastructure fee, Supervisory fee, Structural fee on top of the exorbitant cost of land.
