How to scan multiple pages into feeder on Brother DCP-L2550DW
I hope this helps someone needing to scan multiple pages into one PDF document.
ADF = AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER
IT CAN HOLD UP TO 50 PAGES. USE STANDARD PAPER.
LOAD IT INTO THE FEEDER FACE UP AS IN THE VIDEO.

Thank you so much! On a Mac, open Image Capture and then select "Use Document Feeder" and you will get the same results.

How to scan if page has both sides printed?
YOU ARE AMAZING, the first one worked!
It's easier to scan using the Brother software. You don't have to touch any buttons on the unit. ControlCenter4 has two Modes: Home and Advanced. Which one opens can be set in Configuration > Mode select. For Advanced mode: 1. Place documents in feeder. 2. Open 'Brother Utilities', click 'ControlCenter4', 3. Click Image (for scan to image), or File (for scan to PDF), 4. Click Scan. There are some settings there to take note of, like Scan Location Folder, Resolution (Use 150dpi for text, 300dpi for image), Document Size (Letter / A4).

thx , short and sweet...my problem is window comes up reads "no PC found"...surely can be done but as of this minute haven't figured it out.
Does it support duplex scanning through the adf? Will it scan both sides of every sheet in the adf?

Key point missed is how to "Connect to PC" so you could scan with ADF. That's the key info I'm looking for. How did you do that? With a cable or on your pc or something else?

I just got that stupid printer and I can't figure out how to change an image size for printing??? There's this button in copy and scan, reduce, but only gives options in %.. and it doesnt work.. I just wanna print a photo and want it to come out small, not full page!?? If anyone know how to do this, pls let me know before I throw the freakin thing out the window. Thx!

Maybe look at your folder 📂 of scanned items or photos. That is usually where mine go. I hope that helps.

How does the printer know to which computer it's supposed to send over the scanned copy if there are multiple computers connected to the printer?
In my situation, there is only one computer connected to my printer but I believe that there is an option on the printer/scanner to send the scanned document to email so that may solve your problem. Load the scanner, then press scan, then press the down arrow under the ok button until you see the option email then press ok. See if that works.

You can only load up to 50 pages into the feeder at one time into one pdf file.

Hi! I am not sure since I haven't tried that. The scanned document will show up in your scanned documents file folder and from there, I attach it to email.
