dxmlsd: Thank you so much for posting this. I only wish you could have found a video of the performance itself. I love Rowland and Lydia more than I can say, and it thrills me to know that they covered Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Run Through The Jungle." I've always thought that CCR was an awfully old-fashioned macho yobbish terribly un-sexy band - the sort of band that punk rockers were rebelling against - so Lydia and Rowland's version comes off as a necessary desecration.

Stuff we used to listen to in the 80s. In fact I was the one of the crew who "discovered" them. Must have heard them on some very obscure yet awfully hip radio station. I can't even describe what I felt when I first heard this song and the Words of Jamal version from the same album. Like witnessing an exploding galaxy, live.

I always forget that Tracey was still a member of Marine Girls even after recording a Distant Shore and those early EBTG singles.

This Brilliant song has excited me for decades now; keeps getting better every time I hear it. chEErs!!!
