How to Free Motion Quilt on a Janome Skyline S7
Thank you so much for your time!! 🙂🪡🧵 I enjoyed your video & learned a lot; continuously learning.
I wonder if the machine is different on a newer skyline 7? Just noticed this is 7 years old and my machine is new.
Why does this not work for me? 2:27 it doesn’t allow me to select the option for free quilting (it’s grayed out). Looks so simple but then it’s not allowing me to do the steps.
Is the Juki frame the same as a janome?
Hi Kerri, great demo and super awesome to see you! Kelly J
for all of you watching... her ruler has a ruler stop on it, and had she placed that stop at the bottom of her seam she wouldn't have to "guess about a 1/4" away to stop" If you place the stop on the seam your ruler foot will hit it and end 1/4" away.
Sürekli ip sıkışıyor dikiş dikemiyorum
Thank you for this!
thank you........I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve been challenged to attached the QO foot till I saw your video re clipping it on the back first.......and the height of the foot is VERY good information and I know will make a big difference. Thank you SO much
Helpful video. I love Amanda's rulers too!
I like your new commercial
Est ce que je peux trouver cette machine à l'Italie
Back again! I heard that North Dakota accent… Had to look up the store!: Fargo North Dakota! Lived in North Dakota, Williston, for 17 years! Had two babies there, raised three… ‘ And when the four of us get together, invariably, that North Dakota German/Scandinavian emphasis on words takes over! And when the whole family gets together, it’s like we’re back in North Dakota!
Thank you so much… Our local quilting/fabric shop probably has had this quilt in stock for a while, but one of the owners quilted one up… And I just had to do it… I’m going to attempt to do it in the diagonal gate/rhythm. That really attracted me to this quilt- ‘ kind of an “Art Appreciation” piece, like a Picasso! Thanks for sharing, everyone who share their efforts!
Really. Where is your shop
Perfect tutorial, thanks!
I'm attempting to sew on spandex like fabric. The seams have popped. can you help me adjust? I do have jersey needles size 12.
These quilts are beautiful
Why is it that your machine brings up the bobbin thread all the way to the top. Mine stays slightly below material.
Love it for my terrace rug. No more cord tangling up in the chair legs. For that alone it's worth the investment.
Absolutely perfect! Thank you 😊 namaste
Fantastic way to show the difference in a retailer and a box store! Impressive!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT I AM SEEING…I already have an M7 JANOME CONTINENTAL…and Love It but thinking of also getting an S7…
how difficult is it to hold the ruler AND move the fabric at the same time??
Terrible music
What a nice demo! Thank you.
you probably dont care but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Harlem Kendrick Instablaster ;)
@Cole Harvey Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Cole Harvey It worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D Thank you so much you really help me out :D
@Harlem Kendrick glad I could help :D
Great job, everyone! When I created the pattern I wanted to offer a much simplified One Block Wonder technique that would encourage quilters to make awesome quilts in a short time and with just one fabric. You took this proiect on, had fun with it and created gorgeous quilts! 👍🧡👏
Like you I found the hex projects to be a bit busy and went in search of this technique. Thank you!!!
My needle is constantly going whilst loading my bobbin please help
Good work 👌👌👌
Awesome, thank you for sharing! I recently made a king-size quilt for my bed that was a huge labor of love. My partner runs a lot cooler than me, so he sleeps with a ratty old comforter On Top Of My Quilt 🙄 to keep cozy during the night. I’m thinking about making a coordinating quilted duvet for him, so we can both be happy lol
That is genius. I love the feel and loft of a duvet but the look of a quilt. Thanks for the tip about quilting an old sheet to the back I wouldn't have thought about it.
Foot name please
Great video.... Thanks!
What table is that machine in ?
Excellent , I'm going to have a go today
Oof this would be a great video but it's about 10x too fast
Glad to find this
Thanks for sharing! Is just what I was looking for.
Hi there, thank you so much for this video. Can you show please also Bernina L460 (next to it) what is the main difference? And where do you locate (where I can find you?:)🤗
Great machine! Thanks for this demo.
pro tip: watch movies on Flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
but no attachments, that is terrible, every vacuum needs a crevice tool at the least
I love my Bernina serger!
Thanks for the awesome video!
Can you show how to use the channel locks please for straight line quilting horizontal and vertical please.
I have a bernette 37 ,I can't wait to own one of this ,ooh goodness I could not sleep.I could quilt all day and night.
Thanks for this demonstration! This will be so helpful when I get my frame and machine set up. I just got them today and the ruler work and channel locks. I am looking forward to using this set up! Your quilts are beautiful! Such a surprise this evening to find this video waiting for me!
Love it!
are the vacuum masks washable? I would think not.let me know.
what is the outside fabric made of ? Why are pleats needed ? ( Vanity maybe ? ). Anyways you are a very sweet lady. I am just going to use a straight vacumn bag with elastic and plastic washers.
My Pocket Pediatrician ruclips.net/video/ofw3AGhvP-0/видео.html at point 15:45 of her video mentions washing or heat of any kind making the mask ineffective. You were not sure if that changed the effectiveness of the mask, My Pocket Pediatrician explains why doing such a thing does.
