Lindley Farley wrote and directed a 25 minute short film, The Famly Graves, about an African-American family's debate over patriotism. The film climaxes with the patriarch, Errol Graves, appeal to inner city children to honor their country.

I thought it would be nice if the new Superman movie restored the tradition of the "Superman March" from the Fleischer cartoons, that theme was written by Sammy Timberg. The George Reeves' TV series also had a memorable march which is credited to Leon Klatzkin. Finally, the Christopher Reeve's films, produced the most famous Superman theme, written by John Williams. This is a version I created....

William Friedkin's Sorcerer (1977) is based on the Georges Arnaud novel, The Wages Of Fear, which was first made into a film in 1955 by Henri-Georges Clouzot. Sorcerer's most renowned scene is of two trucks crossing a rickety bridge during a rain storm. No such scene appears in either The Wages of Fear novel, or film. But there is a bus crossing a raging river scene in the 1957 film, The Waywar...
