Thanks! Aleister the Invoked would only work in a DM deck that doesn’t use any of the DM themed Skills since all the Skills lock the Extra Deck to specific fusions. It seems like an interesting idea no doubt, but I’m not sure it’d be very viable currently

Dark Magician is definitely in a much worse spot than before. Dragonmaids seem pretty balanced and not that bad to play against. Crystal Beast will pretty much auto win the duel if they can get their Ultimate Crystal fusion out and you've got no way to stop it. HEROs are completely broken and will become even stronger once the new HERO structure deck drops in a week. Tri-Brigade will be annoying to play against if they can get to their Link 4 uninterrupted. Bane of Darkness is still gonna be the best way to play DM. I'm hoping Konami will throw us a bone, but it might be a while before we get anything

Forbidden Chalice and Book of Moon are always good and cheaper alternatives!

We're definitely two different people. Haven't really watched much of DL F2P's content, but it wouldn't surprise me if I had a voice similar to someone else's!

I honestly don’t think we’ll ever get Magician of Black Chaos MAX due to it being a Kazuki Takahashi card (which aren’t even in Master Duel) and Konami are very respectful of his legacy. You could be right though, which ain’t gonna be good for us lol

Buster Blader was sent to my GY by the opponent's Vector Blast, so I had no choice but to make The Dark Magicians

Security Dragon needs to have another Link Monster pointing directly to one of its arrows (co-linked) in order to use its effect. As an example, if you can Link Summon “Imduk the World Chalice Dragon” directly underneath Security Dragon, its arrow will point to Security Dragon’s and both will be co-linked, allowing you to use Security Dragon’s effect. Hope that helps!

You could use all the info that’s explained leading up to the DM portion of the video and try to apply it to your own deck, checking to see what your Blue-Eyes cards can do and if they can possibly counter. E.g: Blue-Eyes Twin Burst can banish monsters if it fails to destroy them by battle and Ultimate Fusion can non-target destroy cards up to the number of BEWD and/or BEUD used from the field. Hope that helps give you a start!

Don’t really see how it’s a joke as it’s a very strong version of DM. It’s definitely annoying to have to shuffle a card back when using the Skill, but it can beat down a lot of decks fairly easily with the right setup

I replaced one Eclipse with a Forbidden Droplet, mainly to have some form of effect negation for when it’s necessary. Ningirsu is generally only really used if my opponent is trying to stall and I have a way to get multiple monsters onto my field. I might end up changing my Link Monsters once the Bishbaalkin ban takes effect in December

@@CoolsyNitro I find Droplet discard requirement very costly in this deck, I probably just stick with Forbidden Chalice.

I wouldn’t recommend running this build as it’s very bricky. Instead, you should check out the guide I wrote on Duel Links Meta (link is in the description)! It’s got some deck examples and recommendations as to what you should/shouldn’t run. It’s a good starting point for anyone wanting to get into DM

Good for anyone wanting to try a Ritual version of DM (which I would love to try)! It means you can play other powerful Limit 1s. If they add more Ritual support down the line, then this could be an option we could use

You just Link Summon it and then use it as a tribute for Successor Soul. That's the best use you can get out of it

Yeah this deck ain’t cheap lol. If you saw Chronicle Magician in one of these replays, it would’ve been when I was still tinkering with the deck and swapping some cards in and out. As for starters, there isn’t really anything else we have that can add Dark Magician to our hand so freely. I can’t find anything else that won’t cause me to sacrifice my Normal Summon. If only we had Illusion of Chaos 😅 And yes, it’s funny to watch Predaplants set up a board but have nothing to break back row. Looking forward to seeing what deck you cooked!

@@keithwilson8036 I’m currently grinding to DLv Max in the KC Cup with Battle Chronicle (plan on hitting KoG with it too) and it feels slower than Bane of Darkness. Both skills have their weaknesses and strengths, but I do feel that Bane of Darkness does have an easier time at tackling some decks compared to Battle Chronicle. I’ll have a more firm decision as time goes on and I keep play testing both decks every month one after the other

It’s much easier to get Dark Cavalry or Dark Paladin out, plus Diffusion Wave-Motion can help clear every monster on the opponent’s field and prevent some effects from activating

@@adriankorriku39 That happens from time to time. Sometimes you’ll get easier match ups, sometimes you’ll get harder match ups. Just how it goes really EDIT: I will add that it happened to me a lot too where I just got consistent losses at times. The more you grind, the sooner you'll end up seeing good results!

Dark Magic Attack is so powerful in Rush. Seeing more and more backrow in Speed made me realise that I just had to include it, or the climb was gonna be very hard. At least it’s searchable and doesn’t brick my hands like DMG lol

Either Battle Chronicle or Bane of Darkness. Both are great in their own rights and have different ways of dealing with various decks
