I raise sussex , wyandottes and kosher kings as my meat birds . Cornish cross is to dirty and to many fatalities or broken legs . Also cornish cross is hard to breed and raise to keep yourself in meat birds . Sussex is my favorite .

Someone forgot to tell my Sultan Bantam Hen that SHEis supposed to lay only a few small eggs , ,SHE LAYS EGGS AS BIG AS MY ROCKS AND AT LEAST 3 and 4 A WEEK, SILKIE JUST HATCHED MORE

I've got some Buff Orpingtons that drop some pretty pink eggs. They do vary from a very light tan to pink. Solid layers too.
