One of the truly beautiful movies.
My favorite actor (Falk) in my beloved town of Berlin.... It's all I need 😊
definitivamente esto es cine 🚬
My Führer survived the war 🤣🤣
a fantastic movie treasure, Ganz is an invisible angel and Peter Falk was also an angel now human? makes this scene amazing. Get this movie; one of my favorites and ignore the poor remade version in LA.
To whomever reads this: I'm glad you're here. It's good to be here.
Am I the only one who thinks that these two had very similar voices?
Bruno Ganz...great actor.
RIP Bruno "Der Fuhrer" Ganz. You live amongst the stars now.
Wunderbar dieser Film
This is probably one of the top ten most beautiful movie scenes of all time. Bruno Ganz and Peter Falk are perfect in this. Wim Wenders is one of the most brilliant film directors of all time. Wings of Desire is a truly sublime piece of cinematic art.
This scene makes me cry.
That was really good 😂
When Columbo meets the mein Fuhrer
Bellissimo
Marylanders hit those O's harder than Ray Rice!
I'm in awe of this scene. Every piece of it fits together masterfully. The camera work; the editing and pacing; the background actor. Most of all, how Peter Falk does his soliloquy to the angel whose presence he can sense, but can't see. The tiniest details of his delivery and mannerisms. That moment when he drops his cigarette to rub his hands together. To me, this is perfect.
"The armour" And with that, with those two words uttered in less than a second, your entire understanding of a character is turned on its head. What a great film.
Extraordinario film, con increíble director, e increíbles actores como Bruno Ganz y Peter Falk. Gracias por tanta belleza.
R.I.P Bruno Ganz, he was great german actor with talent❗😢🙏🎬🎞️🎞️🎞️🎥
Written on the building: wer dunkerbaut wirft bomben. Perhaps in English: whoever builds in the dark throws bombs
I appreciate this, seriously! It's a great line. But forgive me, I need to correct: It says "Wer Bunker baut wirft Bomben" and I'd translate it this way: "Someone who builds bunkers throws bombs (as well)."
@@user-bj2lu9qt3o whoever builds bunker throws bombs
The fact that Ganz could play this role becoming an angel looking over Berlin and then later in his career playing Hitler is a clear indication of artistic genius
. . . not to mention one of his last film roles - as Sigmund Freud. 🥲
Well you're kind of supposed to be in different roles
Unique 🔥🔥🔥🔥
bruno ganz (the actor who plays the angel) had the kindest eyes.
Yeah I agreed 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 RIP Bruno Ganz (He died in 2019)
Danke, Bruno Ganz, danke, Peter Falk... unvergessen, RIP...
Spectacular cinematographie
this movie makes me want to wake up each day
This is so relevant today, 12/29/2020, days after alec's wife is accused of faking an accent.
RIP Bruno Ganz. An incredible actor and a very nice man .
They are both angels now.
Великие актеры!
Not bad considering hes only about 30% English.
I Have a little habit. Every 10 years I watch this movie just once. In two years it will be the next time. I feel like this is the first time I watch it.
Two years ago you wrote this. Hope you enjoy it soon.
@@sameash3153 thank you for let me know. All the actors are gone.
Just one more thing! Peter Falk absolutely legendary and Bruno Ganz such an incredible actor
Two of my favourite actors
Technically Damiel and “Peter Falk” but still...
What is this movie?????
I watch this when I'm feeling hurt.
We watched this (as well as "Berlin Alexanderplatz") and finally went to Berlin in 1989, my college buddy and I. And yes, we experienced much of what this film depicts -- and then some -- living mainly on the streets like the angels. Berlin had a deep and moody vibe pre-Wall-fall. No other place like it in the world. Got to experience the Wall coming down as well. Berliners back then were all extra-dimensional beings in an extra-dimensional setting. Lebe wohl ihr Großen.
Well precisely depicted
one of my all time fave films!
un film fabuleux!
One of my favorite movies ever. I recently lost a close friend who decided to check out of this world voluntarily. I just wish that she had seen this film. So incredibly profound and poetic. Bruno and Falk - the most unexpected matchup under Wim Wenders watchful eyes.
Sorry to hear about your friend Jeff
Please, what is the title of the movie?Thank you.
@@auraionescu3862 Wings of Desire directed by Wim Wenders - Put this one on your bucket list
@@auraionescu3862 yes, original German title:" Der Himmel über Berlin"
@@JeffSchreiber99 Was your friend a JEW?
The dialogs in those older movies are much more like in an good old theater play.
Vous êtes Bruno Ganz ? ca alors quand je racontera ça à ma femme !
Wow
Adding to my list of movies to view. Beautiful scene. ❤ Miss you Mr. Falk.
Thank you Bruno, Peter, Solveig, Otto and Curt. You are all angels again, living in the most perfect film forever.
❤❤❤❤
Amen
Two fantastic actors who are no longer with us (and currywurst - want, want, want...)
R.i.P Bruno One of the greatest actors The love for you will be eternal Thank you so hard 💕💕💕💕🌌
