@@ODHunte both. The firmwares are up to date, different cables testes, and battery and DC power. I'm not the only one tho, I saw other people complaining about it on DJI forums. It sucks because I bought the Shinobi specifically for my director to have his own monitor 😑

Using the DJI Ronin app for this. But you can also use the Accsoon app on the iPad if you have one of their units. 👍🏿

Yes they are! Very decent price! I bought mine from the distributor in the UK but you can buy direct via Aliba express and it’s even cheaper. I think I’ll do that next time 😏

As long as it’s compatible with your phone you just need to set it to record log within this Blackmagic app. I guess you mean in the app and not on the phone itself, though?

Hi everyone’s experience will be different because it depends on your combination of equipment. But you basically get the combination of body stabilisation from the shoulder rig mount and you get electronic stabilisation from the gimbal… It’s really best for having stationary shots but like it behind-the-scenes from the creator video you can see it’s also used on a rickshaw as well… If you are doing any kind of extended movement along the floor, you should definitely use a rickshaw for this… But taking one or two steps to get the block is absolutely fine. One of the great things about it is being able to go into different positions without having to change the set up… So you can have it as a shoulder rig to get head height conversations and then you can have it at hip height to get another lower perspective and then you can also put it on the floor or have it in a lower angle to get really low shots as well… It’s a very convenient way of having your camera and being able to have balanced and stabilised in different positions.

No I don’t know this! Every day is a school day👍🏿.. Well you gotta use the tool that works for you! All these cams can give decent images these days. I love the ease of BRAW though..

@@ODHunte it certainly is, particularly where Resolve is concerned ☺ Yeah, pretty much no bad cams around these days. I use BRAW with the F6 at times and it serves me well, but think I'll either wait for a Mk2 Pyxis, or more likely save for the Cinema 12k, the footage looks so amazingly gorgeous.

@@alzibaba yeah the 12k looks stunning if you can handle the form factor.. shooting BRAW on Sony? Nice.

@@ODHunte 😉 BRAW with the Z Cam F6, not Sony FX6. An even nicer image IMHO. Yeah, the form factor's my key consideration with the new 12k.

Hi I should do a break down video 😄. Basically you push it as far back on the plate as you can and then you have to add counterweights. I use SmallRig round counterweights but I also made a custom counterweight out of lead which attached to a SmallRig holder. Then push it as far back as you gleam get it without it hitting the gimbal when you tilt.. 👍🏿

It was shot 6:5 not open gate. The footage was desqueezed automatically in Resolve and I out put it to a 16:9 format. I’ve hit a video coming soon which explains it better. Thanks!

I’m not constantly recording so couldn’t tell you the continuous time but turning the camera off and on between moving and setting up it lasts about 2-3 hours. My sessions are around 4-5 hours so the two batteries I bought last the whole session with some spare. 👍🏿Thanks

I’m actually quite loving this one! I only bought it a couple of weeks ago and I’ve used it on three shoots so far… Really solid… I bought mine secondhand and so I think there was a bit of damage to the track but I dismantled it and turned the track inside out so that the damage bits were on the outside so now it’s smoother… I also have the 12 foot dolly system as well but this is great because you can move it around more easily. This is the 3 foot one.

The start stop I use all the time via the RS4 yes.Just need to Bluetooth connect the two. Photos I’ve not tried as I never use that Blackmagic camera feature.. 👌🏿

@@ODHunte The BMPCCs are wide so it sits really awkwardly on the RS Pros, with the right side of the camera fully pressed against the Gimbal. No room for cables and the media slots were blocked from being accessed. The Pyxis on the other hand looks like it gives far more room for adjustments and additional hardware.

@@simonlewis3685 yes you are absolutely right. The disadvantage is they are deeper and with the rear external battery tilt balancing is a bit tricky depending on the lens. I will buy a BPU-30 and push the unit further back to compensate soon.

The only setting you need to have right is that you must set the PYXIS SDI output to 1080P. I found this out the hard way that the SDR doesn’t recognise the 2160P and says it’s not getting an input. 👍🏿
