It does have a 50% increase in elemental damage, however, my main weapon has been the 2 handed sword and I was only using the current sword to level orbs and switched to it just to test out survivability with the increased health recovery my shield gives me!

@@KoolBreeze420 No. That increase in elemental damage only applies to attack skills. Your minions and your spells aren't affected by that.

Did I know when I recorded or do I know now? Yes, I noticed the quit save the problem is when I tried it, it messed up my recording!

Yeah, they can go into any slot and you get the skill that's true, but there are also conditions for some of them. Some require maces or swords. Doesn't shield crush need a shield to work? I will check it when I play again!

@@KoolBreeze420 Yes, shield crush does require a shield and most attack skills require certain weapon types. Spells never have weapon type requirements.

Maybe one of the rings but I don't recall what my other ring does but my one ring there's no rare that can give the same resistances, I can swap the colour of orbs to boost resistance in any element for example Blue is lightning red is fire green is ice. as well as it has the advantage of the socket. it has other benefits as well, I will show them and talk about them in the next recording that will be released two days from now. thanks

@@KoolBreeze420 I'm aware of what that ring does, and have used it in builds before. It's got -20% to all elemental resistance, plus 75-100 of a single resistance depending on the gem (not called orbs by the way, those are usually currency) that you socket into it. That means a maximum of +40 net resistance (-60 + 100), and it's very easy to get double that from a rare ring (20-32 from implicit and even just 2 25+ explicit resists puts you over 80) . Elemental equilibrium isn't something you're using to your advantage, especially considering you're swapping random gems in and out of it.

I get distracted and stop moving at times, it takes a lot for me not to get distracted ADHD.

I tried to link them all but I can't, I need to find the recipe for that and I haven't found it yet. If I could link all the sockets I could insert more support orbs. I have tried to build for resistance mana and life recovery while relying on summons for the majority of damage. All I can do is hunt for recipes and level up.

Pretty sure I showed the stats in this episode but my resistances are pretty high, and I can change it when necessary. If I'm in a fir level I swap to a red orb a blue orb increases lightning resistance. My bet increases life regeneration by a a lot also helps with chaos damage over time. Every item is geared to life and magic recovery along with everything is geared to elemental resistances the only thing is chaos it's at -2 the rest are 75% and there are numbers in the brackets are in the hundreds except for fire but that's why I swap orbs when going against fire. I don't have any idea what element was hitting me, my guess is it was laced with chaos because it's my current weakness. If this is todays episode pretty sure I mentioned that I think I finally have enough cash items to start trying to work items into something close to what I'm using but with chaos resistant boosts. Anyway, nice video and btw, the first card is a 5450, it says on the sticker that is on the heatsink side, that one is a 1GB DDR3 version but you have several versions of that card, the first model launched in 2010 and was 512 MB DDR2, it's like the AMD's version of the nVidia GT 710, used only for basic setups, people that onl surf the web and work with office, watch a few movies etc... more like a media center but even that might be hard for today's software, 1GB is very limited, stick to the 3050 😅... just ignore the Ray Tracing part, the card's arquitecture do allow Ray Tracing, the compute power does not... i recently swapped a 3060ti with a RX 7800 XT because i gave up on RT, crushes even the 4070 super on rasterization, i'll leave RT for when it becomes trivial for GPUs, right now it's not...

This video showcases all the video cards, I've gone through since recovering this from the dump, basically the only thing left of that machine is the chassis there's a video on my channel showcasing the mods, I've made to it, and the mod I made to my mech drive to try and make it the longest running mech drive with video documentation and screenshots it has just over 11 years of hours on it. The RTX plays the games I want it to play and what I found most surprising about it is that it only uses 70 watts. The fact that it outperforms my power hungry 1060 while using 70 watts was surprising and still is. When it comes to price to performance though the deal I got makes it a remarkable deal. You can't get a card like the 1060 or my RTX for the price I paid certainly not brand new with warranty I mean.

Can you get one for under 200$ Canadian? Also I'm quite happy with it; it outperforms my 1060 it really is a decent card. I'm very happy with it. When it comes to price to performance there was nothing at the time that was brand new in the price range I needed it to be in. The day I bought it there was a sale and a coupon dropping it to 175$ Canadian. The 3060 doesn't seem to have 6GB version meaning I would have had to buy the 12gb for 430$ I don't even see an 8Gb version on Amazon Canada the only RTX 3060 that shows up is the 12GB. @@Cuddyyy Canadian? As well I can't find any mention of an RTX3060 6gb. I wanted a new card that fit my limited budget. I got this brand new RTX for 175 Canadian Dollars that's $121.72 United States Dollars. I finally got the experience of peeling a card and a manufacturers warranty that covers me until 2027. I could have went used again and likely got a better deal but I choose this for the price to performance upgrade without having to upgrade my PSU.

Thanks Appreciate it. The RTX 3050 not sure if I mentioned it but I almost returned it because I thought I got a fake RTX card. To think that a more powerful card than my GTX 1060 only uses 70 watts blew my mind.

@ 70 watts is kinda crazy. But the 3050 is considered a really bad card. (Still better than mine) I recommend getting the nvidia app and seeing what it thinks the card is, although it does look like a 3050

@@BenVR314 Like I said I almost sent it back but both the App and the website verified it; it's under warranty until 2027. I'm not sure why it would be considered a bad card. I didn't notice anything when I looked it up, the surprise for me was the fact that it doesn't have any need for external power. It draws all its power from the PCIe slot. If I didn't mention it I'm a retired PC Technician so I verified it and it eats my power hungry 1060 for breakfast and dinner. It's pretty awesome and the upgrade saved me from having to buy a new PSU.

@ i mean, I still consider it a good card because its better than my 2060 (although barely) but most tech enthusiasts consider it pretty bad because it used to cost like $550 and was the equivalent of a 2070. It’s still quite a capable card, and its nice to hear its real. Happy gaming!

@@KarthusDreams It sure does if you bought it on Steam. I have 4 achievements left to grab. Fire in the hole, 99 minutes, it's over 9000 and 1 hidden. By my count there are 14 achievements so when you mentioned the bell I was thinking that it maybe be the hidden one I'm after.

Yeah I see what your saying but the trap isn't a result of a gem it's actually in the staff itself. Which is why it surprised me when a trap flew out.

Taking away vs costing basically means the same thing to me. When I say things like that's a word salad it means I have no idea what it means. I do on offs so I can see what changes in order to help me along. In this video I got an item that seems a bit OP to me since because of it dying is not easy. ;)

@@KoolBreeze420 Taking away mana would be more like reducing your maximum mana. That's very different. Increasing the cast speed doesn't do that, and it seemed like that was what was confusing you as to why that node had something in red. You're actually gaining power, but the Path of Building app shows a lot more information than necessary, often to the point of positive changes appearing as negatives.

@@doctoryoy4447 That could be true but at the time stamp I didn't hear me say anything about that. The red item in that node showed an increase in how many mana points something cost so it was raising something. I'm not sure how it's not a loss if your spending more mana or reducing mana to me it means the same sorta thing. There would be a difference when accounting for all spells but when I'm thinking about 1 spell to me I see no real difference. Let me try saying it this way; say we have a mana pool of 10 our spell costs 2 mana so we can cast 5 times to hit zero; now we raise the cost to 3 mana and now to cast 5 times it would cost 15 mana therefore, I have a reduction in how many I can cast. I don't see any difference. In any case, it's not something to worry about Thanks! The real questions in all of this is as follows. How do you know when you do chaos damage? What does a chaos attack from an enemy look like?

Not sure what your referring to. At that time I'm in the path of building software and talking about chaos. You should know that the questions you hear me asking is a way of me trying to sort stuff out 80% of my questions aren't actual questions for viewers, it's a coping and sorting mechanism.

@@KoolBreeze420 You were asking if any of your skills do chaos damage at all. All of those green improvement stats, like chaos, lightning, fire, cold, physical max hit. +Chaos max hit doesn't have anything to do with the damage you're doing, it's how big of a chaos hit your character can survive. The reason your survivability to all of those damage types slightly increases is because the intelligence node you took increases your maximum energy shield.

No, sorry not even close. You, see it's a long story, but it was all software aside from the fan header and the power button wire. The Dog fish (SSD) hanging there is my emergency recovery drive it's a 64 GB SSD that I keep in my DVD binder in case windows chits itself. The reason the nest formed is cause I was pulling the mother board out to test with a spare mother board so I had to cut all the zipties off and that's when I discovered what was causing my no power situation! However it was all software again aside from the reason it started I suspect that when the system shut down cause the header shorted the system causing a shut down and a corrupt windows or windows just chit itself because of age after the 1st image restore it chit itself again that one I can't explain but everything is now working perfectly! This computer was built from a unit I took from the trash 20 years ago, however the chassis is the only thing I haven't replaced yet.

@@KoolBreeze420 Monster mods are the words below the monster's name when you mouse over them that describe their special behaviors or properties. That specific one had the two I mentioned plus Spell Resistant and Fire+Ignite Resistant. A lot of the more dangerous situations are caused by on-death effects and being able to recognize them before they happen is a major factor in surviving. Pretty important when you reach maps and only get 6 portals to work with.

@@doctoryoy4447 Still not sure what your talking about. I see no way to read anything on the monsters I'm fighting. When can you stop and hover over a monster to read it's stats while in battle? I see no way you can do something like that! As well I also mentioned that this character was retired but you will have to go watch that video to learn more. There are many things I did wrong with this character, she was not built to fight or to take hits, it's why I had to compensate with many life leech support orbs. I didn't know I would get course and that she would need more natural life regen and elemental resistance. My 2nd character is already out performing this one. Thanks!

@KoolBreeze420 cool, yeah I am gonna try again starting the new reboot tomorrow, hopefully I don't mess my build up again lol. I get op in the early acts of the game when I get down to the end and endgame I just end up dying a lot. I just started playing earlier this year and hadn't got down the use of skill and support gems, but been watching a ton of videos on all that as well. @@DwayneDrake-f2h When you finsh the acts you get cursed and lose resistance, build up all your resistances Chaos, fire, ice, lightning. Find ways to increase those as high as you can if you check the last video in my first series, my necromancer dies almost immedialty after getting hit, I didn'tr know about the curse, also beware of objects that come with curses, some items have really good stats but often come with a curse. I have a belt with some cook stats but the curse is crazy like -25% on all elemental resistances type fo things a trick I learned is hover over an item and press and hold the alt key one other tool you should get to help is called path of building, it gives you a whole lot more information on each stats that you add.

@@DwayneDrake-f2h I'm sure the cores are there the Alt function is worth you finding if you have a PC grab that software it will add more info on each skill point you can add or change but the curse you must prepare for before finishing the acts.

I'm not sure I understand what your getting at. I do have the music lowered and the ambient sounds are higher then the music level. Dialing the sounds in so that I could be heard over them took me quite along time and unlike other games I cant just reshoot an episode. I can try turning the ambient up a few notches however over the course of almost 145 video's in POE no one has mentioned anything about the sound aside from when I couldn't be heard.
