Seohyun. I first want to talk about your musicality. Your vocal are so rich and true, and there is depth to your voice that is present in every song that you sing. They are so raw and come from a place that allows you to present yourself as honestly as possible. Your vocal expertise and intelligence is so prevalent when you sing, because you deliver your lines in such a realistic way. It is liberating to hear you sing, as you have such a unique tone that is mature and youthful all in one. You incorporate so much into your music, and fill each of your lyrics with all of your heart. Your messages are as convincing as your voice is defiant; and getting to hear it feels so warming. Along with your voice, I think you are one of the most talented, professional, and individualistic dancers in this generation as well. It leaves me speechless, watching you interpret and expressing your choreographies in your own way. You are extremely genuine when you dance, and even when you have done the choreographies countless times, you perform them as if it’s your first time every time. Perhaps what caught my eye the most about your dancing is that you have boundless energy and spirit. You are incredibly athletic, giving you an advantage in stamina, but it is also your personal desire to instill life in your choreographies that makes them so unforgettable. Overall, you are one of the most influential artists of our generation. You have already changed the world with your music and performance; as well as pave the way for future artists to discover their own sound. Your impact on the world through music and much more cannot be described, but rather experienced. Your position musically and all of the revolutionary actions you’ve taken through it will be everlasting and keep its hold on the world forever. In addition to your musicality, I also love your personality as well. What I first recognized about, and one of my favorite qualities of you is your ability to keep a smile on your face through all that you go through. I know it isn’t always easy to remain positive, but every time I have gotten see you, you have always kept your head up. You are also very professional. You are well-educated, and aware of the environment around you. You respect all who you come in contact with, and are even selfless towards them as well. I can say that it is likely that nobody knows this better than your members. When you first met them, I don’t know if you were aware that you’d become such a grand part of their lives, but you have. I knew your members could see that you always tried to see the good in every situation, and from this, they automatically were attracted to the way that you carry yourself. You are the reason your members could ever believe in themselves, each other, and their future lives. You became their strength when they needed it most and have picked them up when nobody else could. Your playfulness and unpredictability has led to them laughing and staying happy through all of these years. I know they have felt safe with you since the earliest days you’ve spent together. I know that you bring out the best in them because you’ve been willing to see them and accept them for who they are. I know that they learn a lot from you as well. You see each individual for what they are, and how they want to be seen. You are extremely reliable, and I can tell that each of these instances has brought you closer together. You know some of the most sacred and secret parts of their lives and themselves, and they will always have to you to hold those pieces of them. You’ve helped shape them for their futures and whatever they aspire to accomplish in the future. No matter where life takes them, they can always do it to their best ability because of the love you’ve given to them. You’ve been a part of their most cherished and beloved memories, and I know you will be in their hearts forever. From the perspective of a fan, and to speak for those who feel the same, I want to thank you for being that person in your members’ lives to change them into the greatest version of themselves possible. Thank you so much for bringing them a world they could be themselves and live freely in. I want to personally thank your family and parents for raising you. I have no doubt you have kept them with you through all you’ve undergone since the beginning of your journey. I often think about how young you were when you started, and how that might have affected you in this sense as well. I know you’ve had them with you and thought of them during every step of the way, but I just want to say that I hope that you are able to continue to remember them in times of need. When you feel lost, or like you can’t get up again. I hope you remember that they are always going to be there to help you with whatever you need. There is no situation you can find yourself in that they can’t help remedy, so I hope you can keep this in mind. Your wins and loses are only success to your family and they can only take pride in you. They are proud of you no matter, and will always support you whenever you need it. They love you more than anybody else in this world, and always will be the people behind you in the darkest moments. As Sones, we want to thank them for raising you in this way and we keep them in our hearts as you do. You honor them with every decision you make. We strive to spread the same generosity and compassion towards others as they do. Seohyun, the Sones are one of the biggest and most diversified families I know, and I can say that you are one of the biggest reasons for this. You are yourself at all times, even when it might be hard to share your emotions or talk about the situations you find yourself in. It truly feels like we are a huge part of your life given the way you have always communicated with us and kept us updated on what was happening in your life. It seems rare to find somebody who is willing to support you so loyally the way that you have for all of these years. Through the changes, one of the biggest constants has been your love for us. We’ve felt it in every way possible, and it has lifted us up through some of our darkest moments. It is the most honorable feeling in the world being your fan because of the way you reach out to us when you don’t even have to. Even if you were busy, feeling down, or any of the infinite reasons you could have been occupied, there you are, always with us even if for a moment. I hope that you can feel that our love and unwavering devotion to you has never failed you through the years like yours hasn’t for us. It is all we can do to be by your side and defend you no matter what the issue; like you’ve always done for us. Especially given that you’ve been doing this for so long, the memories and treasures the Sones have gotten from you are among the greatest, and can’t get any better. Thank you for being that person who has guided us when you yourself were down, or hurt. Thank you for putting us before all else, and being the reason we can believe in ourselves in each other. Thank you for being the reason we have seen our potential, and believed that we can make our own stories. I know that you’ve been through a lot, both professionally and personally. I can only hope that being there in spirit has been enough to help you through it all. I wonder what you’ve had to face alone, feeling like nobody could understand you and having to figure it all out on your lonesome. It’s unbearable about thinking about you going through this, but in spite of it all, we love you even more because you’ve gone through it and came out on top. We, are all proud of you for making it through all of the hard times in your life. Your perseverance and strength to get through it all don’t go unrecognized. It takes somebody who puts all of their faith in a better life, a better situation, and seeing the light once more to make it through what you have. Though we don’t know the half of it, all we have to do is look at how patient and steadfast you’ve been your whole life. You teach us all how to be brave like you and face our fears head-on. I urge you to maintain this mentality and this way of life so that you can take charge of your life each time there is an attempt to make you feel lesser than what you are. I hope that all of your dreams come true and that you are able to try all that you desire today. I hope we serve as a representation of the person you’ve come, and the unbreakable relationships you’ve created through the love you have for those around you. I hope you can see how many people you’ve touched and counting in countless different ways. Please allow our love for you to make you feel greater than you ever have, and like you can do anything. I hope that those around you are also able to help you feel and see how admirable and dear you are to the world. You deserve all of the success and glory that has come and will come to you. I hope all of the blessings you deserve come to you on this day. Please relax and I hope this day goes down in history as one of the greatest you’ve ever had; with some of the greatest memories you’ve made. Thank you for sacrificing so much to make Girls Generation and your solo projects possible. Thank you fro suffering through any pain, doubt, fear, fatigue, concern, hardship, stress, isolation, and so much more just to bring us any bit of content at all. I hope you don’t feel obligated or pressured to change at all, because we love you for exactly who you are. You are beautiful inside and out, and you are the reason so many people can be themselves as well. Even the smallest of actions inspired somebody somewhere, so I hope you keep doing what you do best!
