UF Health Proton Therapy Institute is among the top-rated cancer centers in Florida. We are the only Florida Cancer Center of Excellence equipped with state-of-the-art proton therapy. We are one of the first proton therapy facilities in the nation to be accredited in radiation oncology by the American College of Radiology. How many proton therapy treatments does it take to treat prostate cancer? Typically, treatment for prostate cancer is performed five days a week for eight weeks. Some patients may be eligible for a clinical trial that completes the treatment in five-and-a-half weeks..............................y not have robotic surgery, u will b ok within 30-40 days...thats better than 5 days a week for about 56 days??
