I honestly feel like Shay will eventually betray the Templars the same way he did the Assassins. The man does not like crazy people with the tendency to be careless and destroy the world, a pattern also common to Templars. The term "Rogue" fits him well and a decision like that would also be befitting to his character. He also has the tendency to be hasty though.
