Can you explain the logic behind doing an RPS alignment?
Its mostly for datum targets and when you dont want the origin to move. For example in automotive body structures, the origin is always at the 0,0,0 of the entire vehicle and that cannot change. All body parts must be referenced back to that origin. Therefore you are programming in car body coordinates and not machine coordinates. It takes some getting used to of you are use to a machine shop where your coordinate system stays consistent.
Very cool. Now show us to do that with a surface profile.
right click does not give me any options. What might be the problem? Unable to add(define) any probes to existing free #4 position. Says #4 is undefined.
Would like to see adding an addition probe tree #2 so we can manually change without a rack.
