The tunnel they were a bit unsure of at first, then they got used to it, but the sides are a bit of an issue for the lower IQ lot... I keep putting leaves and twigs and things in for them to climb on... But they keep hoarding them in the tunnel.. grrrrr!! Haha

Oh or like bramble or raspberry leaves maybe...

I ordered some nettle/dandelion leaves, they don't look like the stuff I give them.... Oh no, I'll just have to order more treats for them....they are so Spoilt !!!!

Hi, I feed them more natural things like insects and bugs for protein, and pesticide free vegetables (they aren't super keen on fruits). I sometimes give them human food too occasionally - like chicken/pasta/etc.

@@samanthamaselli-jackman4676 it's also important for them to have dead leaves and rotting wood as that's their main diet. Check online for what leaves/wood are safe for them ,👍

Well you know what they say - Shrimps is bugs! With day time movement it depends on the species... Dairy cow isopods for example just don't care and will be out and about all the time. My magic pods are all a bit different, some of them don't care about anything, whilst others are a bit skittish - when I move my dolly too fast, the vibrations freaks one pod out and it runs away.. only that one, noone else cares! Haha

That is freeze dried cod (fish). It's a cat treat, but I thought I would give it to my isopods as it is 100% natural

@@bile897 the one on the left as in the cod (white cube)? I got it from Pets At Home (u.k) . Really cheap and probably will last me a year. I think you can get tortoise food from there too, I can't remember where I got mine from.

Yeah they go food crazy at night, isopods are usually nocturnal. My recording only allows 3 hrs at a time before stopping, so I do miss some of the nighttime action whilst I'm 💤

Unfortunately the soil isn't deep enough for a pit fall trap . This is working pretty well though, and I can sprinkle different areas of the new tank with a few at a time (so they don't eat all the stuff I planted as fast)
