My daughter, through patience, was able to get a wild squirrel comfortable with her and us and take food directly from our hands. My daughter also tried to teach her how to catch. This started over 3 years ago. She will come running when we go outside if she sees us, wanting nuts.

Well..mine is not a battery powered weed eater..it's gas and it's alot easier to string it..know issue having to take nothing apart..just feed one end through one hole and it comes out the other side of the reel and just wind it up until all the string is all in on the reel..and I've owned those kind of weed eaters..and I've had to wind both the same direction..they suck and your always fighting the string to keep it on the spool..
That is wrong, Both most go the same direction.
