The food and beverage world is a unique industry, and North Carolina's food scene is growing everyday.
Take a listen. We hope to entertain, teach and inspire while offering some specific information about the NC food scene."

Hey Vivian I’m from Bushwick Bk!! Big fan and dear I must tell you that you need to come back stronger than ever !!❤❤🙏
Kinston is soooooo nasty !! Run Viv !!
Love you Viv !!
Sloppy mushy sausage sounds like you need to talk to a doctor instead of Haig… 😂🤣😂
❤❤🔥🔥 thank you guys!!
Max, thanks for bringing Guy and Cooper to your podcast. They have been champions of Frankie Lemmon School TWFE for years. It’s impossible to say what they mean to all of us associated with FLS and TWFE. Great podcast and can’t wait to visit them in Highlands. ❤❤
Excellent show!
Looks like SUCH a great time. Everyone is so personable and positive!
This is so cool! How did you guys do this? When is the full episode coming out?
I’m from the town Beaufort Nc
I love all things Nc! Is this my new favorite podcast!
Awesome gin Moonbird, mind blowing rum Goatz… Loving this stuff. Go NC…
P R O M O S M 🤤
That guy's a Dork.
I just watched this RUclips edition and in the past loved "A Chefs Life" - Vivian looks and sounds completely unfocused. What happened? I loved her show, but she looks lost!

Love your ideas. vivian, did the fridge concept stem from covid, or is it just anatural progression to use foods that are sustainable food that will last. Wish they had this in cornwall ontario. It's just like a vending machine with high-quality food for four. Im 66 hard to cook for one person and would love this here. Years ago, i use to dream of cooking along with you in your restaurant for free as a volunteer just to learn, and im a fast learner. Congrats viviaan
I think you designed my dream home. I love your house, Viviane
My number one bucket list is to meet Vivian Howard and Ben. I watched them on PBS and enjoyed the show. I would love to meet everyone from the show. I am homebound been disabled since 24. I love to cook. But challenged due to my health I have a paralyzed hand and arm. I want to take a road-trip from GA to NC. I miss watching them on Sat morning. If I ever get to go anywhere on vacation it’s to go eat at both of their restaurants. I want to go meet Ms Mary. Not sure if they all still around since it’s been several years since I watched. Anyone want to take a road trip??? I can’t drive since my brain surgery
Vivian and Ben divorced a few years ago.
She is so hateful to her mom an husband an staff.anyone can cook better than her.
I liked how Vivian deflected the host’s tangent silliness about lactose intolerant PC talk and also countered the mansplaining about ChatGPT - “I’m sure I could tell you a lot about that …”. Vivian projects knowledge, humor and control. I wished we could have had more from Vivian than the amount of patter from the hosts. Perhaps run this recording through an AI tool to see the amount of speaking time that the hosts had and the amount of time Vivian had. Still, I’m appreciative of the hosts and Vivian in making this recording. I have both of your cookbooks and enjoyed watching your tv shows via RUclips as I’m living outside of the US. They brought up for me nice memories from my US Southern upbringing.
So cool! Love you Viv, and love yall's show! I watch it all the time on PBS/KERA 13.3 here in Big D (Dallas, TX). I only wish there were more episodes.
Is it still on? Or old shows?
. Vivian you always put 150 % in what ever you do.like a chefs life on tv that I loved
In Ottawa ontario in a large mall there is a bakery that offers slices of cake they bake each day so some tings are similar here in Canada.
A la carte
Yes smart fridges could tell you that you have used 4 of the 10 brisket and mash for example . Or each time one of the foods gets removed it lets the person that needs to fill it aware of what is getting low to restock.
Servings 2, 4 or 6 and see which sells best
Love the concept of a farmers fridge. I’m going to to try to pass this concept here in Cornwall Ontario to council. For chefs cooks butchers bakeries etc. turn those fridges into vending machine. Love this idea big time especially good healthy foods for one especially as I’m retired Also adding a delivery service attached to that as I don’t drive.
Never heard Heard of vid’s fridge. Ever thought of selling them as frozen dishes. I always look for one person meals at my age.
I’ve never heard of Vic’s fridges until now.
I use to dream of going to see you in the chef and the farmer and would love to have been able to cook with you for you cause I believe you have lots to teach people love your style and your philosophy of cooking
I want to meet her to. Road trip of my dreams
You look great such a pretty lady. Great talent
Making your beef and cabbage casserole dish for my family. I get too cook for them once a month. They cook for me once a week. It’s nice as I don’t cook for others to often at my age anymore so I’m always looking for simple tasty family recipes. Oh and my son in law doesn’t like cabbage but I’m sure he’ll eat this casserole dish I’m going to make next Monday.
Do u have recipe
Good to see you are coming back. I live in Cornwall Ontario Canada I loved watching all your guests on the show the farmers in particular and loved seeing your parents as well. Hope you are all well and I’m sure your kids are getting to be quite big now.. I loved the feel of the chef and the farmer. Real down to earth and stuff I want to cook. Hugs
Hi Vivian loved seeing I was thinking about you today looking for your / Ms. daisies beef cabbage casserole dish which I found on utube. How are you looking forward in seeing you. How is your mom
She’s great. We are sad her and Ben separated. But she is a fabulous cook and a good person. We ate at Chef and the Farmer. Great food. The cookbooks are great. All naysayers can get lost. She’s a human being. She’s not perfect. But we wish her all the best.
What happen? My first impression about their relationship is not 100%, He is an painter really.
I didn’t know they separated. He always seemed depressed
It was obvious she had no patience with Ben . And now has kicked him to the curb.
@@user-Lee2925 with her it was "all about me" attitude"
This woman is so humble and very talented. I love to watch the reruns of “A Chef’s Life.” I’m watching them again right now on PBS. Delicious recipes!! ❤
I bought the $75 short rib from Viv's Fridge. One of the best beef dishes I've ever had, but as a lover of beef the dish that was supposed to serve 3 or 4, actually served 1: Me. 😀
I have had the chicken pot pie twice and enjoyed it; I don’t frequent much because it’s expensive, in my opinion, but it was very good! I just don’t want to pay $80 for ribs….
Лайка 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You look great Vivian❤Here from Supply NC
Thank you so much for the shout out folks! Always love hearing your episodes and we're glad that we can pronounce Ajja properly... we even figured out Trujillo! ;)
Our pleasure!
Hey Max & Matt, Amazing!! Your video content is unique and I enjoyed it very much. So far, you have uploaded 308+ videos and achieved 108+ subscribers but your videos are not viewed and subscribed that much. The numbers should be more than they are now. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target viewers. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. So you need to optimize your RUclips channels & do video SEO then your channel will rank & and grow very fast and monetization of your channel will be on. Are you interested in improving those issues?
I’m making your tomato pie tonight Vivian. My mother was born and raised in Sampson County and we went down there all the time to my grandparents farm along with all her 8 brothers and sisters and all the cousins. The Good Old Days. 1960’s America

Love "Somewhere South"! Vivian Howard and her crew do an amazing job covering so much territory in the South, exploring each theme for each show. If I had to name a favorite, it would be 'Greens'. Especially the time spent in that fresh market doing mini-interviews with people from all over the world about their favorite greens.
