Yes, I was. I poured it in small plastic bottles and buried them in garri that was in multiple nylon bags. It was still an issue at the airport because they saw it through the scan but I assured them that if it spills (which it wouldn’t), it will only affect the garri. I used Qatar airways.

It’s normally 23kg x2 and 7kg hand luggage, but I got an extra 23kg when I signed up as a student. You can use boxes or Ghana must go bags (it doesn’t matter). They just have to be maximum 23kg each.

Yes, you get an extra luggage allowance for only Qatar airlines so if you have a connecting flight or journey with another airline, you can’t use it. My final stop was Heathrow

Yes, luggage allowance is two 23kg and one 7kg hand luggage. As a student, I got one extra 23kg i.e. a total of three 23kg bags and one 7kg hand luggage. I had a backpack which contained some other items asides my 7kg box (hand luggage) so she expected the items in the backpack and the backpack to be included in my 7kg box. No, I didn’t buy any extra luggage so I don’t know how much it is. You can check the airline’s website…I think they have the price details there.
