... Yeah, I've heard this tune as well, but that was later, after my stay in England... Lol, this is so 80ies... Reminds me of a fair we had every year in my hometown Munich, the "Deutsch-Amerikanisches Freundschaftsfest" (German-American Friendship Fair) - Madonna is actually from the UK, but this is exactly the type of music they would play, for instance, on a scooter or roundabout (at the mechanical bull-riding it would rather be "Sweet Home Alabama" ... lol...) Hey Jordan, I will watch your reaction later, curios about that because I actually really got to know Madonna's music during a stay in the UK, I was staying with a host family at Brighton for a four week language course summer vacation, that must have been in1985, because it was in August, and Madonna's album "Like A Virgin" was released in November 1984, and Madonna's music was all over the place... In some of the evenings we students from the English class would meet at a club to have some fun and dance and meet English guys with whom we might chat and practice our English... (see, it worked...😄) ... Like A Virgin and Material Girl and Into The Groove are the songs I remember best... I have fond memories of that time, my guest parents were a very nice elderly couple who loved traveling to the Black Forest with their mobile home during their vacations. The Black Forest is a beautiful region in Southern Germany were I live and I've been there quite a few times myself as well... Well, maybe all of that is completely irrelevant and boring to you, it's just my context about Madonna (I was even younger then, than you are now...) and the reason why I'm looking forward to your reaction, to refresh those beautiful memories... - But I have to delay that, because right now I'm watching RAYE's full set at Montreux, and I just paused to drop by and tell you that she released a full concert video just a few hours ago on her channel! So far you have watched two songs from that concert, Man's World and Mary Jane, and I paused after another song, because I thought by myself "Jordan would surely be loving this and be vibing like there was no tomorrow..." - It's funny that you just uploaded Madonna and I'm commenting on this video, because the tune by RAYE I came to propose for another reaction is a dance-pop tune as well and really suits Madonna's vibe... RAYE had old guys like me in the audience jump like crazy, and I would have jumped highest if I had been there... you will jump too 🥰. The song is called "Secrets", it's an older tune by RAYE (she also did "You Don't Know Me" which was her first major success about 10 years ago...). My idea is that after your reaction to "Secrets" you might watch the complete show on your own if you like to (highly recommended!), because you already did two and know some of the other songs from different performances, so three songs from Montreux should be a decent and adequate number of reactions to that venue and you could procede with other sets and settings... There's so much more to discover than just Montreux... 1999 Acid Jazz Funk! This band brought some feel good vibes back in the day. Their debut songs from 1994, Light Years and Space Cowboy are still great today. Later songs like Cosmic Girl, Supersonic, Love Foolosophy and Little L are good too.
