Are you seriously comparing a fretless, hollow body beatbass with flats against a 5 string, fretted Ibanez with rounds?
Which bass is which? Is the black one the SR300E and blue one the SR370?
weight ?
I didn't weigh it, but it's lighter than some of my guitars, not to mention the basses.

Hey man, can you please tell me how you do those fast slaps from 4:41? I try to learn that fast alternate slapping but I don't get it how to do the second slap (the first one would be the thumb slap), like how do you hit the string the second time? With what finger/s and so on?
i do with the little finger. alternating strikes with the thumb and little finger. a matter of practice

Fresh strings and neuraldsp plugin. Maybe you need check output on built in preamp.

Странно что на западе не очень любят бассы от ибанез. Хотя у ибанез есть очень удачные модели вроде этой, которые стоят намного дешевле и звучат или намного лучше более дорогих гитар, или так же.
Солидарен) у меня фендер джаз басс уступает в миксе общем на лайвах относительно этого баса

Great video, thank you vary much! I have one question. Can you please tell me is body of your SR370 made out of maple wood? When you play that two basses unplugged, acoustically, without any amp, does the SR370 sounds any different than SR300E? Is the maple body of SR370 more resonate and "alive" sounding than Nyatoh wood used to make body of SR300E ? Does maple body of SR370 has more sustain ?
Я most often I listen to instruments directly connected to the equipment. this gives me a full understanding of how the instrument will eventually sound in stage conditions. I did not measure the sustain, but I did not notice an obvious difference.
Thinking about getting this bass in the blue color. I was worried about it being so cheap at $400USD but it looks and sounds damn good for that price point. Thank you for the review.

i dont have an sr 370 but i have a 2009 sr 300 and A 2022 sr 300 . the electronics are very different and the new sr300 sounds better i would say!!
Can I ask what strings you have on iti? Is it the stock ones you bought it with or did you change them?

Excellent comparison, what do you preffer ?
I prefer the new generation. He has a very convenient switch that switches the modes of operation of the pickups. And I like the new generation better by the sound.

There is literally no difference. Both basses are practically the same. 370 is just made from lighter wood, whilst 300 is heavier. And 370 is being painted with fancier colors. These are the only two differences. But sound and electronics are exactly the same
