I liked it better when he had the two girl back-up singers. The short-haired girl did the high notes back in the day. I think their names were Maz and Kim.

As far as I can remeber, this was before the time Level 42 became fashionable in the Club Circuit, with Mark King demonstrating his fabulous slapping technique. Pino did it too at that time, and that on a fretless bass! A whole new dimension. Had it ever done before? Anyway, I also liked the early Level 42 very much (Later on they became very commercial, top-40 and bland, and I lost interest). Good news: Lately, Mark King and his friends are reviving funk just for fun and not for commercialism!

Rediscovered Paul Young and blown away by the range and quality of his voice in these older recordings. He also had an awesome stage persona and style. Paul has much of which to be proud and it is great that he continues to love creating music.

Pure talent! What a performance! Paul Young and the A-ha from Norway have never disappointed their fans. Breathless performances, no rude manners or bad speech, just good music and stunning vocals. Their high notes are never shouted, real singers. Paul Young's and Morten Harket's voices, different but equally great, will be my favourite ones for ever.

It's funny: to this very day, this is more a song for Pino to snine than Paul. I was a kid back then, mesmerized with this sound coming from a radio, and realized this song is played by a bass and a vocal. Like no other instrument existed or mattered. Those licks around the vocal line, that's what made it memorable.

Once you listen too this song you so hooked. It's a beautiful song Paul Young sings. And, the band plays so amazing.

No wonder The Who got Pino to sit in for John Entwistle after his passing, the guys a incredible Bass player 👏🏻
