Howdy!!
I am a busy working mom and our son is 8. I am thankful to God and my hubby for providing a Blessed life. 👪 I am grateful that I found a passion helping other moms live healthier lives, inspire their families and invite faith 🙏🏻 into lifestyle.
I KNOW what it’s like to live a busy life. I’m a 6th grade math teacher 👩🏼🏫, a wife of 13 years 👫 & a baseball mom. ⚾️
I want to encourage you & help and you through your ENTIRE fitness journey because I understand how hard it can be to stay on track when life gets in the way.
We’ve been TTC 🤰for 8 years. I understand the stress & heartache that journey can provide. I’ve also learned what a difference our food choices can make with our health. 🥦🥗🥓🍳🥑🥥🥩

Just joined the group. Excited to start implementing
Do you have the first two as well?
Isn’t act of copying writing better than a worksheet? (Slowest photocopier in the world response).
Are you doing the macro moves and the micro moves in one teaching period?
Great session. Really helpful
As I watched through this amazing session, I noted some time stamps which I hope others will find helpful: 00:57 consolidation (selecting, sequencing, and SEEDING - or skip if all groups got it) 07:59 notes (worked examples to build on note-making - step 1, 2, 3, 4, 5a, 5b with gradual release of scaffolding) 21:25 worked examples (note-making) vs mimicking of notes (note-taking) 23:27 CYU ("alone together," "mild, medium, spicy") 29:30 CYU providing the answer 33:35 assessment opportunities (what outcome to what depth, be a hunter, nix synchronicity) 46:20 gradebook (weighting, psychological weighting, nix ranking) 57:35 absences (adding value by being present, come see me at lunch & bring 2 friends, absent student hold marker and ask others in group to go slow for them, quick thin sliced spiraled review) 1:05:00 teachers are irreplaceable ❤ 1:06:42 students with services (thinking classroom already accommodates for the most part 😄) 1:17:30 final comments (funding, hack for under $50, thinking classrooms is developmental)
Thanks!
I am incredibly grateful you were able to share this with us! Thin slicing and engaging reluctant students were my two greatest concerns when it comes to adapting the thinking classroom. Thank you so much!
