    I believe that Valve made the right decision by banning snap tap. If your opponent doesn't know how to use null bind or the snap tap keyboard, they are at a disadvantage compared to you, which is unfair. However, Faceit allowed this feature, so it's great that it's no longer available.

    • @pumpalicious_
      @pumpalicious_ 5 месяцев назад

      It is weird having faceit (the more competitive platform imo) allow snap tap, but not valve servers. I wouldn't be surprised if faceit bans snap tap soon.

  • @Rotwold

    "...A little more consistent" No, it makes your strafing and jiggle peeking frame perfect while hitting max velocity, every time. In other words, it made you achieve 0% AD rollover while having max strafe/movement velocity with 100% consistency. Great video nonetheless! Appreciate hearing about your impressions from actually using it. I just wanted to address this common misconception of how it only make you "more" consistent, when in fact it makes your movement immune to human error.

    • @pumpalicious_
      @pumpalicious_ 5 месяцев назад

      Glad I could help give you another perspective! I struggled to peek using snap-tap exclusively, and found myself strafing normally, which was why I was only "a little more consistent." If I spent time rewriting my brain after hours of gaming for this one feature I may have said that it was broken, but in my 50 hours, it just felt consistent.

    What actuation values do you use for WASD? I know this can differ for each player, but I'm trying to figure out a good starting point for rapid trigger.

    • @pumpalicious_
      @pumpalicious_ 5 месяцев назад

      I use 1.5mm actuation with a .4mm rapid trigger. Might make it even faster now that I'm comfortable with that speed.

  • @Rambz1
    @Rambz1 5 месяцев назад

    and now they banned it lol. It really isnt "game changing" as much as rapid trigger imo as well. So, why dont they just ban all keyboards that have rapid trigger and everyone can have Dell keyboards? LOL I got wooting too btw.

    • @pumpalicious_
      @pumpalicious_ 5 месяцев назад

      Hello fellow Wooting user! I don't think they can ban rapid trigger keyboards for two reasons: Firstly, way harder to detect. Secondly, they've been established in the CS community for a while, and might cause backlash. But I'm ready for them to ban them and I'll eat my words LOL

    One thing to note is the actuation feeling alittle too early might just be something to get used to i started with 0.4 on everythung which granted most people think is too soon anyway but it felt late enougb where misinputs wouldnt happen to me, now 8 months later i decided to try setting my wasd to 0.1 and i have no issues with it feeling too early and misinputs. Maybe ull be able to set it lower in the future maybe not ik some people who leave it at like 1.0 and their happy so

    • @pumpalicious_
      @pumpalicious_ 5 месяцев назад

      Yeah I'm at 1.5mm actuation and .4 rapid trigger, and I'm growing used to it. Thinking about making it faster, but not sure. Thank you for the advice!

  • @CR0WYT
    @CR0WYT 5 месяцев назад

    Snap tap at best just makes counter strafing feel more responsive, but it's not the broken feature people make it out to be. Rapid trigger is the big game changer, and thankfully that's not the controversial topic as that's supposed to give you the most accurate input instead of trying to time the actuation point of a mechanical keyboard or relying on a blue or brown switch physically telling you when your input registered.

    • @pumpalicious_

    When i updated my wooting, so i could use Snap-Tap, i kinda came to the conclusion that i might only effect new players. Because for me i couldnt feel the diffrence. I think it due to me spending too much of my life on this game. I got 3k hours and level 10 on faceit. Their was hardly any impact on my gameplay from snap-tap, its just overhyped.
