“Heavenly Thrills” a song I made in garage band
This gives a game lobby vibe
crazy beat love it!! 🥀
The melody is okay, but the drums are extremely repetitive and it sounds shallow. You can add an extra deeper melody as a bass track, or something else and look at some other drum patterns like ones used in rap for some inspiration
I think it bangs
Pretty good for the first song
You really cook 👍👍👍
What would rate these tracks out of 10? Be honest.
My favourite top 5 songs are : 1st . Submarine 2nd . Enlightening 3rd . There’s a hope 4th . Dearest Synthia 5th . Know my name
Huh, it’s probably a lot different for me cause I made the album but mine would probably be: Replaced False Alarm There’s a hope The pressure Anyway
sick
How si this not popular? 0:21
What would you give this out of 10?
8
7.5
2/10 repetitive. claps feel very off and unnecessary. if u wanna make music try and draw up a melody. the synth-like thing that comes in at around 0:52 is reallllllly horrible sounding as well. good effort, but there's a long long way to go.
repetitive 2/10
this really does sound like autumn, on a sunny day. i like the slow feel. 7.5/10
I love the way the stringed instrument sounds, probably 6.5/10
Rate it out of 10? Be honest.
I like it and if you want feedback on my thoughts check the other guys comment, i just commented on there but other than that, thats great work actually, also if you want to go over any music things, i have a discord thing where i help with music if you'd like mate, no pressure, good luck to you man, you'll do great
What do you mean help with music? Like promoting it or help making it?
@@FunnyBeatBoxMan help creating it, I just look through it and give opinions and insight on how to make it better or what to change or add
the melody is very good, and you have a solid base here. it could use a little more variation. i really like the parts 2:19 here, they sound very dynamic and "trippy". i like this track a lot and hope to see what you do next!
I couldn't agree more, the foundation and everything is great and I love the way it sounds but it's too consistent, changing a small bit can go a long but other than that I don't see much need for improvement
Thanks for the feedback! I release a track every 3 days, one of them being today.
This is one of my most experimental tracks, so please let me know what you think of it?
It’s noice
"Your music sounds awesome! I’m new to DTM as well, but let’s both keep at it ☻ I can’t wait for the day we can collaborate!"
You can use anyone of my beats for a song, just remember to give credit either in the title or description.
1.5x speed makes it better 👍
@FunnyBeatBoxMan Definitely speed tempo up on song it will still sound great!
the shit that goes on with the synth with the almost a key change is phenomenal
Thanks
It sounds like a song from Portal! Very cool!!
Needs some other layers, like sweeps and swooshy sounds, though that's just the style I go for. A little repetitive, but I will say that the synth that comes in at 1:46 has a very interesting chord progression, especially how a bard ends out of key, but almost like it's trying to push a key change, but it pulls back to the starting chord of the bar. That has some really good potential and just needs to be refined. Good work, overall! 😃
It's not bad. a little repetitive in some areas tho
Be honest, what would you give this out of 10?
Hey! This sounds somewhat like the music i post on my channel and i really like the beats and the rhythm! youve got a gift! i subscribed!
3/10
7/10
Miles better than my first song
This is pretty good for a first song. I like the percussion loop and great work on the synths
What would you give it out of 10? Be honest. Also this is the first song I ever made on GarageBand
I’m not even close to an expert on music composition, as I’ve actually just started using GarageBand about a month ago, but I think this is an 8/10 for a first song!
you're going places/10
For a first 9/10 but if this was from someone experienced then 6/10
It's actually good, the synth was great and the lead was good too. If I had to give any criticism it's the big room part that's throwing me for a loop, it kind of stands out a little and the claps interject a little bit but other than that nice work. Solid 8.5/10
Sounds like a top down rpg game when youre in like, a factory about to face an important story boss. Gotta let the homies know i fux with this
Thanks
(8/10)I'm genuinely love how the song sounds ominous in contrast to the name. Less like "there is hope." And more like. "is there hope?" and I love it. Song still could use some improvements, but overall pretty good. (I'm not really good at music so I don't have that much advice)
Huh, never really saw it like that, but now you say it a kinda understand what your talking about
7.3/10 main bassy melody goes super hard, i liked the percussion as well. when that singular repeating note comes in its a bit repetitive; you could have added a little stepwise variation every so often, for example. also, when the next harmony part comes in its very similar to the bassline. when the next part does come in, however, the new synth sounds *really* good with the previous parts. and then the return to the original melody works really good as well. i feel like the next could have been a bit shorter, though, and the ending section could have been a bit different. like the new synth at the end could have been more of a descending line than its original one. overall tho i liked it!
7/10 it has potential! i liked the instrumentation changes and liked the main melody. i would try experimenting with song structure (e.g. ABA structure) where subsequent parts have a different melodies, and then return to the original. i disagree with the other comment about dissonance; the synth sound is a little unstable but it fits the song nicely. and also, if you want, you can try experimenting with other styles/genres (e.g. something less electronic) to get more ideas. keep it up!
Thanks
A little bit dirty and dissonant on chords side, needs improvement there. A little bit repetitive, would win from more melodic and harmonic variation. Overall it's fine, just keep up the work, I'm making music too and I get the struggle, just keep doing it Also, might be subjective, but consider using some better software (Ableton Live i.e.)
What would you give it out of 10? Be honest.
6/10 sound like music from a space level of a cool maths games platformer (compliment)
Rate it out of 10, be honest.
Rate it out of 10, be honest.
its actually really good! its quite a relaxing piece of music, well done!
What do you give it out of 10? Be honest
7/10 its relaxing i like it. it reminds me of a Yoshi Wooly world music. I don't remember which one
Lots of sections for not much going on you could say..? sounds great but i feel like you only let each instrument do one thing instead of letting them each take on each others roles at some points
Pretty cool
Love it. Hate the people saying "Repeition". MEDIC! repeats a lot and people love it. LET THE SMALL CREATORS RISE UP!
Thanks man
hey man you have some good ideas. reach out to me if you wanna collab
Yeah sure
Oh wow I really enjoyed this!! I think this would be a perfect piece of music for a game soundtrack, it really gives me sci-fi vibes. I agree with other commenters who say that it's repetitive, however it's not boring at all in soundtrack context some repetition isn't a bad thing! I think its well made and that it sounds great, keep up the awesome work!
its good, but there's room for improvement. like some other people mentioned, repetition is not great. you can add a bridge and a chorus and i think it would be a lot better.
if you cut out the repetitive boring parts, the song is about a minute long. (🧀 out of 10)
i feel like it repeats a lot
Like... an alarm?
@@Tiger-7020 but it's not a literal alarm, it's a false alarm
i meant in terms of chord sense and melodic sense
Hey you just got into GarageBand right maybe you should start layering your beatbox even more like adding a bass and some harmonies
Thanks for the advice, I might do that someday in the future. So subscribe (if you haven’t already) to stay updated
Hehe it sounds funni
