    If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend watching a game on an NBA League Pass TNT OT broadcast. You'll have a new appreciation for what the refs have to deal with. There is nothing but complaining going on after nearly every single play. Bron was even out on the floor laying into the refs on a few occasions. It's also funny, seems like someone yells travel after every basket. The rim down view on the Lakers rim in the first half, and the same view on the bucks side in the second half provides a lot of insight as to what's going on. The Lakers shots in the first half were so off, it's not even funny. Obviously, some sort of depth perception visual issue, as there is no way shots are normally that far off. Teams were also gassed at the end, so the Bucks shots looked just as bad in the OT periods.

      Hello! I got the bat online off of Facebook marketplace for a pretty decent price. I think online would be a good place to start! As far as the bat goes, I really love it. I have had it and used it for nearly 2 years now and it is only now starting to crack. Highly recommend it!!

      My Xeno is still hanging in there. I’ve hit 1000s of balls with it, and while it does have some chips in the paint, it seems to be working just as well as ever.

    Ghost advanced vs xeno your opinion?

    • @sychosports908
      @sychosports908 2 года назад

      Hi Kyle, my daughter loves her 2021 Xeno, which she still swings today. Other than the very first Xeno we purchased, they have been the most resilient bats she's used by far; first one broke where handle and barrel join after 30 days. She did switch to a Louisville -10 LXT for a while, which was also a great bat, but the barrel didn't last long. The ghost bats are notorious for having a very short life, which has been our experience as well, but they are typically hot bats. We have returned the last three Ghost bats we purchased. The last Ghost Advanced bat we purchased kept hurting my daughter's hands, which she never has a problem with, nor has she had that problem with past Ghost Advanced bats. I'd chalk that experience up to just a bad bat. We also returned a 2021 and 2022 standard Ghost, which were just dead out of the wrapper. We had the opportunity to swing a demo version of the 2022 standard Ghost, which my daughter loved. However, the new one we purchased, which was the same length and weight (34" -8) was a dud. Maybe it requires a bunch of breaking in, I'm not 100% certain, but everyone else I know that has them said that their bat was hot out of the wrapper. We recently spoke to an Easton rep who said that the -9s and -8s would likely have a longer life span than the lighter bats, which seems to be the case. I say seems, because her 2021 Xeno -9 bat is still going strong, and she hits tons of balls with it. She'll even hit the occasional baseball and slow pitch softball with the same bat, which is typically going to be much harder on a bat than a fastpitch softball, and it shows no signs of breaking. However, she does still have the 2019 version of the Xeno, which is a 34" -10, and it's still completely fine as well with lots of miles on it. The data we have is a little too small of a sample size to come to any real conclusions about bat life and the weight of bat, but the data is leaning towards what the Easton rep said. I'll have my daughter respond with her thoughts, but I personally would recommend the Xeno, unless you're wanting to have to buy a new bat every couple of months. Obviously, there are some variables at play that determine how long a bat is going to survive, like how many balls you hit with the bat, how hard you swing, and the type of balls you're hitting. My daughter hits tons of balls very hard and the Xeno bats have lasted much longer with maybe just as much pop as her ghost bats. I'll try to get my hands on another Ghost Advanced bat, and we'll post a video comparing that new bat with her current 2021 Xeno to see how it stacks up. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! George

      Thanks for the recommendation. If I can get my hands on one, we’ll see how it stacks up against our other bats. My daughter loves her Louisville bats. I think she just finally retired her Xeno. She’s now swinging an LXT.

    How do you like that bat ?

    • @sychosports908
      @sychosports908 3 года назад

      Hi Francisco, my daughter is still using the same exact bat she was using in the video. She loves it. Way more durable than any of the ghosts bats, as we've been through quite a few of them. She still has a 2020 Ghost and the Advanced Ghost, and prefers here Xeno bat over both of those bats. The Xeno is a -9 34" bat though, while her other bats are -10 33" bats, which may have more to do with why she likes her Xeno so much (Longer barrel and some added energy transfer into the ball with the added weight). We have done exit velo tests with quite a few different bats, and the highest numbers (80MPH+) was the Louisville Slugger LXT 2021. I just re-enabled a couple of our older videos, which are bat vs bat reviews, that you may want to check out. Have a good one! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    So, we have a 31/20 advanced. Had it for 4 months and the 3rd one just broke last week. How is yours holding up. Does the drop 10 hold up any better than the drop 11. Also is there any other bat out there with the kind of pop the advanced has... like Quattro pro or LXT? Have a 2020 CF I and it has nothing on the advanced. Well my 12yr old daughter does!

      We have such a love and hate relationship with this bat.

    • @sychosports908
      @sychosports908 4 года назад

      Yeah, pretty much the same issue here with all of my Ghost bats. My Ghost Advanced is fairly new, with maybe 500 balls hit, so no issues with it yet. However, my first Ghost, which was the gray 2018 crazy nuke model, only lasted a few months. After that bat broke, I bought the 2020 model. which may have lasted a month. I then returned both my 2018 and 2020 for two new bats. I received a 33/23 and a 32/22. The 33/23 started showing signs of cracking fairly quickly. I doubt that the drop would have any impact on the reliability of these bats. Luckily for me, I discovered the Louisville Xeno. I had watched some RUclips bat reviews and the Xeno seemed to be a popular bat with girls my age. I originally purchased a 33/23, which snapped in two with very little play time. Not a good start for sure. However, I returned that bat for the 34/24 version and I love it. I'm fairly certain that the only reason why I even have a functioning Ghost bat is because I almost exclusively hit with my Xeno. I've hit well over 5000 balls with my 2019 Xeno, and it shows no signs of cracking. Based on the the exit velo tests we've done, the Advanced Ghost probably has the most pop. I would need to test with a 34" Advanced Ghost to really be able to compare it with my Xeno though. Good luck with your Ghosts. I can totally see why you're saying you have a love/hate relationship with them. One other bat to consider is the Louisville XLT. I need the opportunity to swing it again, but I was just recently able to swing one and measure my exit velocities with it, which were all around 78, 79, and even 80. I've only ever hit 77 with my Advanced Ghost. That XLT literally broke a day or two later, so maybe it's true what they say about a bat being the hottest right before it breaks. All of our tests are always off of a tee, to eliminate the variable of ball speed, which definitely makes a difference, as I can hit much further off of live pitching. Have a great day and thanks for watching my video! Happy Thanksgiving!

      Hi Nathan, are you talking about the 2021 Mizuno Titanium fastpitch bat? If so, I'll see what I can do to get my hands on that bat. I'm not familiar with Mizuno fastpitch bats, but I am definitely interested in seeing how it stacks up against the bats I use. By the way, I own three Ghost bats, but I swing a Xeno bat in games. To be fair, my Xeno is a 34" bat, which is why I think I like it over my Ghost bats. Have a nice day, and stay tuned for that Mizuno bat comparison.

    • @sychosports908
      @sychosports908 4 года назад

      Hi Minta, thanks for watching. I preferred the Ghost Advanced because it has more pop overall. It depends on how much you like your current bat, but I'd say it's definitely worth it, if you don't have to worry about the cost of the bat. Which DeMarini bat do you use? The bat I swing in games is the 2019 Louisville Slugger Xeno; 34 inch drop 10. We have a new video coming soon just showcasing my Xeno.
