      @@jimmys6566 I've seen this video. It has nothing to do with eagles. Only corvids. I'm interested in evidence, not anecdote. If you have evidence to show that eagles are killing lambs and squirrels then I'd live to see it. If not then don't just throw around claims without evidence. It helps no-one.

      @@jimmys6566 I have already watched the full video and again on your request. There is no evidence of White Tailed Eagle predation on sheep in Lowland Europe, or England so far. As far as I'm aware there isn't even any significant problem in Scotland of sheep predation. Simply photographing an Eagle carrying a Lamb does not equate to predation. That lamb is far more likely to have already been dead and then picked up as carrion than to have been killed by an eagle. Eagles may in fact help sheep farmers as they predate corvids and foxes although that is simply a suggestion of mine so I'll leave you to make up your mind on that.

    More pressure on fish stocks and on farm animals no doubt. Is it Merely to satisfy someone's ego or is there a real purpose to this trend to reintroduce large predators into a small overcrowded UK

    • @joshuasollitt4558
      @joshuasollitt4558 4 года назад

      The real threat to fish stocks is overfishing by people. Don't blame it on eagles for taking a few fish. Also they don't take lambs all that often. Fish makes up the majority of the food they predate themselves and carrion makes up the most of the other food they eat. In fact most of the time they're seen eating sheep, it is as carrion. They'll also predate waterfowl in the winter months.
