Would it work well with the Hifiman Shangri La Sr.?

I have had Px7 S2 for over a year. Clean, mature, reference kind of sound. Love them. ANC is decent too. Only I can complain about is poor app and the fact that aptX Adaptive doesnt go all way up to 24 / 96, but is rather 24/48. These are my primary "nice music listening" bluetooth phones. I got M4 the other day actually for discount. The idea was to replace my trusty 5 yr old Sony WH1000XM3 as kind of all-around, casual music / movie watching / gaming / home-office headphones. They felt palsticky and buggy. The sound is quite good but Px7 is still much more "serious" kind of phones for me. ANC is non existing - seriously I had to check that i didn't turn on transparency mode by mistake - it was that bad. I decided to return them and get refund. Will wait for Sonos Ace to go down in price.

How do these compare to the Audeze LCD-2 closed?

I cannot like anything other than yamaha and polk combination! I m upgrading both with RN800 plus Polk R200 😊

Where would you put the Ether 2 in the DCA ranking? I'm considering selling mine to get either a E3 or the Noire X, but I'd like to have a similar sound in a closed back.

To be honest every planar driver headphones pads should be mounted by magnets itself, not like it really matters to me since every one of my headphones are in perfect condition but still it should be like that. Personally I never had DCA headphones, Noire X caught my attention with their looks, reasonable price and good reviews it gets

CRBN on the Carbon CC amplifier is goat level listening. I have only had a more enjoyable listening experience with the HE1. I may sell my LCD 4 and Stax 009 to fund towards the Corina.

I use a hs35 stereo headset that's worth like 80 bucks, I'd safely assume any of those 2 headsets would fulfil the audiophile crave? I kinda want a headset that I'll never have to replace until broken

Reel to Reel is definitely superior to vinyl in SO many ways. The only issue is it's an expensive hobby. I stopped using my Revox A77 because I couldn't afford to buy tape any more. I had a few good reels that had high-res albums recorded to them (2 Track at 15 IPS), sounded divine. Makes me genuinely happy that new 'old technology' products are getting made regardless of the price.

now days there is a 400-500 USD difference where the px8 costs around 370 - 400 USD. So px8 would be the better choice for your wallet and great audio.

Listening on my S2e's. I love them! I was ready to go into debt for the PX-8's but was pleasantly surprised I could find little difference in sound quality and comfort so paid only about 1/2 the price for S2e's (on sale for less than $300 USD). But, oh, the feel and look on the PX-8's! I do wish the ANC was better on the B&W's but it is not far off from the Bose QC Ultras but is noticeable. For me the Sennheiser's and the Sony feel cheaply made in comparison to the S2e's. The 2 ounces in weight is worth it to me.

What would be other cans with such wonderful robust low end but without those treble peaks? Thanks!

Which planars have more punch and slam in the drums? I heard the Ananda Nano have a lot. Insteresting the 500 are faster and the X are more relaxed.

I have the px7 now, but after a year of daily heavy use. I have adhd and autism I use my headsets on a work day around 5 a 9 hours. The noise canceling is suffering. It's getting bad. So I'm going for the m4 now. Hope to pick it up today.

Over priced I'm sure there's better amps for less money 💰I have not shown a interest in audio for a long time, help me out guys what's better for less cash than this pretty looking unit with blue lights. Thankyou

M15i user here. I really enjoy it. My only wish was that it supported USB audio class 1.0 that the PS4/5 and Nintendo Switch use. Sound quality wise, it's hard to beat the M15i, even with harder to drive headphones. I agree the sweet spot is with the more efficient headphones though.

I have tested Audeze and compare it with many headphones and guys, this is amazing, most detailed, and fantastically sounding headphones. Its only downsize is heaviness and high price.

I am comparing these two head phones. I need a set to go with my Sony WM1aM2 WM1ZM2 to listen to Hemi-Sync tracks. I'm trying to figure out if the price difference is a factor for upgraded tech and if that is applicable to me.

just grab one Sony NW-WM1AM2, sounds really really good...but it's too heavy to carry around...😅

I picked up a 1a a couple months ago. I had to wait for Sony to get the 1z back in stock as that is the only one to get.

No brainer ,,, the b&w s2 just went on sale at Costco, I just bought 2, no brainer, they are phenomenal.
