Thank you for filming the beautiful port of Nassau. I am thinking of taking my mom on a Disney cruise and she will need a scooter. I was worried about how hard it would be to get around for her and to my surprise it looks like it won’t be a problem at all. Again, thank you.

The time that we were delayed in boarding was because immigration was onboard checking crew. We had paid for Faster To the Fun but it did not pan out through no fault of Carnival. We leave out of Baltimore in 2 weeks but our check in time is 2pm. We check all bags except drinks and a small carry on. I also travel with a zero gravity chair in case I cannot tolerate the bed.

I will be in Nassau in November on carnival Celebration. I haven’t seen the new port there. Last time I was there it was 2013. I will film in November and let you know if I get asked to stop filming. Other RUclipsrs like Ben and David have been asked to stop filming.

Been to Nassau too many times and the renovation has not been good enough to go see if you've been there before.

I Cruised to Nassua April, May, July and August of last year. I had an amazing time. I came in on Freedom of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and, Emerald Princess. Nassau was on ALL of my Iteniraries. Nassau also called Prince George Wharf had a multi- million dollars refurbished. Its beautiful with its new marketplaces on the terminal. It has both low and high vendors. There is an Excursion booth and taxi available inside the exit fenses. There is an Amphitheater there where world renowned celebrities constantly are featured. They have an amazing park where a free concert was being held in July. Love the animated marquee with 3D disney character as well as Advertisement of special events. You can get married there. There is an ice cream parlor. Plenty of restaurants and bars with colorful benches to set back and relax. Don't miss the Junkanoo Museum it has alot of history and artifacts on the the Bahamas, its Independence and more. I always take a shuttle and visit the many beautiful historical places, have lunch, shop, as my family swim at the different beaches. Bahamas is a beautiful place. Downtown is a half a block from the terminal. They have walking tours as well. ATVs, horse carriages are also available. Visit the Fish Strip. Or the Rum Cake Factory, the Queen's Staircase, the Water Tower, Baha Mar Hotel, see the famous Atlantis Hotel, see the Flamingo, the Blue Lagoon, visit the Forts, or the Natural Tea Factory, John Watling's Distillery, and so many other interesting things. and the It is safe, dont let trolls or people prejudice prevents you from having an amazing time.

It’s not uncommon to not be allowed to film in ports for security reasons!

Thank you for the heads up that some vendors may say no cameras! I have seen in other vlogs, once a vendor on the cruise ship, and in port, a jewelry store ask the person not to film. I haven’t been to Nassau Bahamas since before the pandemic, like Dec 2019! I’m looking forward to my upcoming cruise the end of this year, and maybe another cruise sooner, so I can see the new port! I was on the Carnival Dream in October . There was 6 other ships docked the same day we were at Nassau. Amazing

LOVE the PRIDE! Love that entire class of ship! . I did purchase straw purses and hats for our granddaughters years ago . The nice lady put their names on them and they thought they were so special. Great video was there in December. As a vendor and have lots of artwork, you have the right to tell people no cameras or video as so many people steal your designs. It isn't that you can't film or take pics in the port, but individual business can ask that you don't.

Nice vlog thank you for sharing. I just cancelled my Nassau cruise onboard the Carnival Pride and booked 11 nights onboard the Celebrity Ascent southern Caribbean itinerary. I love booking the aft view balcony stateroom.

St Kitts has the best port.

Nassau port has improved but is at risk of becoming just another, swimming, drinking, and staying on the ship port. The cruise companies are too cheap to spend a few extra dollars on fuel to visit other distant ports to provide cruisers a much better experience.

I was in Nassau many years ago and all they had was the straw market, besides the regular stores in town.

Nassau port is a giant tourist trap with nothing more than overpriced poor quality tourist junk for sale. Every stand sells the exact same items. Even along Bay St, same junk for sale. I walked around for about an hour and headed back to the ship...There are much better ports in the Caribbean like San Juan, Barbados, and St. Maarten.

Probably due to the overwhelming amount of counterfeit goods at the shops in port.

We cruised the following week on the PRIDE, November 3rd for the fourteen dayer "JOURNEY" when those Baltimoreans come on board, it's SHOWTIME personified....IF YOU GET MY DRIFT!!...LOL!!!
