This is only a part of the message he spreads. I wanted to focus in on one aspect, so I ignored other equally important parts, such as removing distraction and finding peace in your place in the natural world. Hope you enjoy

1080p WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 2 HOURS Welcome to my first video! This is a holistic overview of the entirety of FINAL FANTASY, the iconic 1987 hit that began one of the most legendary series in gaming. I know that my vocal delivery is god awful, but I really didn't have any time to re-record my lines because I have to submit this video as a final project for school. The editing is also really ...
FF2 is better than a lot of other FF games imo, Like 3, 1, 5, ten-2, 13, ete.
@@greek1237 interesting you say this, it’s definitely better than 1 by leaps and bounds. Now of course I haven’t played any of the other titles yet, but why do you think it’s better than (I think) extremely beloved titles like 5 and 10-2. I know 13 was divisive so that’s understandable. As for 3 however, I’m having a total blast with it. I really underestimated how much I’d enjoy the job system. To me it feels much more solid and polished as a finished put together video game, especially in terms of pacing. One thing which FF2 definitely holds over the both 1 and 3 so far is the interconnected story, in the other games a lot of what you do can feel disconnected and almost random. 2 was so awesome partly because there was a consistently solid through-line tying the story, locations, and dungeons together

- Final Fantasy retrospectives? - Heading back to college? - Currently making a video on FF3? We’re in the same boat man. You’ve got me beat on video visuals, I think. Good luck on FF3 - I just finished the FamiCom version yesterday and it was super difficult all the way through (I didn’t grind at all)
You’re an actual SOLDIER for beating it on the famicom version. Mad respect brother. Keep up the grind, Can’t wait to watch your stuff!
Final Fantasy 2 is one of my favorites in the entire series and love it almost as much as Final Fantasy V. When people complain or criticize the game it's safe to assume they have never fully played through the entire game and are arguing from ignorance or just repeating what other naysayers have told them about the game. Instead of being wedded into a particular class through the entire game, you have the complete freedom to shape and mold your characters into whatever combinations of weapons and magic on the fly with even more flexibility than FFV and definitely more than FFIII (Not FFVI). Admittedly I never beat the original Japanese release because I have no patience with assigning attacks then when enemies die during the turn the remaining attacks whiff and waste time instead of auto attacking the next enemy. My introduction was the GBA Dawn Of Souls which I completed 15 years ago and currently trying out the Pixel Remaster of 2 which has been good thus far and appreciate the cheats like 4X gold/experience to significantly cut down on grinding then reset it to 1X or in some cases 0.5X or 0X when it gets too easy and cheapens the difficulty. Personally I prefer the graphics, animation and sound from the PS1/GBA/PSP era but the Pixel Remaster an't half bad to jump into as a newbie these days. 😇
Hey! Absolutely LOVE the info dump, your experience is genuinely super interesting. Definitely doesn't deserve the bad rep, I enjoyed it more than the first by a LOT, both mechanically and in terms of the story. The Pixel Remasters including auto-targeting on attacks was the driving force behind my choice to make the retrospective on this specific adaption. Having an attack miss because you succeeded and KILLED an enemy just seems super rage-inducing. Interestingly enough the cheats and modifications you can make were only in the PS4 and Switch releases for the longest time; it was only recently that the feature was retroactively added to the PC version (and I assume mobile version as well). Have a great day or night wherever you are!
The thing about the auto-targeting is that you need to know how to disperse your damage on your team based on what you fight. It’s painful the first time around because you can’t gauge how many hits a new enemy will take to go down, resulting in wasted time. Personally, I thought the FF2 combat system was fine as it was. …though I didn’t make the best use of it in the FamiCom version, I admit. I was busy banging my head on the dungeons.😅
Just to clarify, the Famicom has a bunch of small details that make gameplay slightly different. Inventory management is a massive issue…
II seems underrated to me. Having played the gba version might help my vision on it. I found it super satisfying to train my party on specific weapons.
Interesting, do you think the GBA version is worth giving a go or is it about the same? It really did feel nice setting a role for party members and seeing them grow into it as the game went on. Thanks for sitting through my video, it means a lot!
@@crowmagnoni think the pixel remaster is probably better than gba version tbh, worth playing for sure still though. I just meant that i think it helped i played the gba version over the original which wasnt too well received because of bugs plus all the story thats left out after translation because of space limitations
Wow! What an insightful video! Definitely want to watch more of this guys stuff 🥶
Great vid 🎉
